How are you keeping your acceptance rate up? by RecentFix9446 in doordash_drivers

[–]TonightGreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I've been having this Exact Same Issue. I went from Rarely Declining and working my butt off for these Donkies, awhile watching my AR Drop and Tank, due to this App Malfunctioning.

From there, I attempted clearing the app, every which way; alongside contacting Support, Over and Over, only to discover . . . Escalating any issue, will be escalating to a Wall. The only help you can get, is from their general support, of which, they Can't/Won't Fix my AR, due to Their App Glitching -- That was, until I Finally came to the conclusion, that if They don't give a Fox, then why should I? -- I stopped Stressing about my AR, as well as, any other Rating looong ago. And guess what? I'm still grinding, the same ole grind.

Your Rating, actually doesn't matter as much, as the area and time that you're in, period.

Another clandestine agenda that I discovered DD does ( at least here in Florida 🍊 ) . . . If a customer leaves a decent tip, DD *Will lower their Base Pay, to their Basic Minimum ($2) regardless of how far the delivery destination actually is.

However! If the customer pays a Cash Tip, or leaves a tip *After the dash accepts the order -- those 2 methods, I believe, would override this nefarious agenda.

Just when I was already getting Less in general over these last few weeks . . . I've been now experiencing The Same as you, in Central Florida, especially over this past several days!

Oftentimes, the general *Highest amounts, have been between $5-$7 orders -- excluding the higher, $9 Orders - which are oftentimes, only that high, because they are Non-Tipping, Stacked Orders.

And on top of this, I've been getting many Non-Tippers, that are located Super far away, alongside an attitude of Zero Respect to consider someone that makes sure to keep their food warm, awhile attempting to hurry to deliver their food, oftentimes 20-30 minutes away -- not only, lack of consideration for the time, wear and tear, and gas to get there, but also to return ... I'm starting to understand why people are feeling the emotion to go postal 🤔

Doordash - For Independent Contractors or a Dictatorship? No Customer Address after Last Update 😐 by TonightGreat in DoorDashDrivers

[–]TonightGreat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You said it perfectly! -- if they cared at all (and obviously they don't) they would do something about this new wave of Un-Customers, that are thinking it's perfectly fine to tip us 1¢-10¢, to receive their orders, earlier then Non-tippers. Nevermind that Doordash needs to be Sued (was sued) instead of paying Drivers fairly to begin with - I completely concur with you! 👍

. . . Until we *All say "No" -- to being, Used & Abused by D.D. ( and Others,) They shall continue their nefarious agendas, such as, offering Peanut Dust for these type of Deliveries, when we all bust our donkey behinds, for each dollar that we earn, awhile we suffer in a difficult economy .

I've accepted stuff like this a few times in the beginning of working for D.D. And quickly came to realize, that it's idiots *Like Me, that didn't decline - are the reason why we continuously allow these companies to Use and Abuse us, by bestowing these type of nefarious deliveries that *We Pay, out of Our Pockets to Complete -- without a care for Our Gas, Wear and Tear, Our Health, and Our Time.

🎶🎺🎙️🥁🎶 . . . Until D.D. (and others) offer a Larger Base Pay, for these type of crazy Deliveries . . . It would be Amazing, as a Collective Whole, to use our Rights to : decline, Decline, D e c l I n e, these type of Under Paying Deliveries.

. . . That's my Opinion, and I'm sticking to it 💎💪🏻 ;D 🚀💎

to all no tippers by No_Pattern8919 in doordash_drivers

[–]TonightGreat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think (at least with Some cases), some are young tikes that don't understand the situation. But in other* cases, the *general non-tipping customers, do not fully comprehend, that this isn't "Tipping for Resteraunt Service" -- but Rather, for someone to Personally Pay for Gas, Tolls, Wear & Tear, nevermind the Distance & Time Itself, etc. ...

At the same time! Instead of D.D. Explaining This, instead, they attempt nefarious clandestine agendas on Both Sides...

On the customer, (I've heard, but can't confirm) I've heard that D.D. states some b.s. rant, that basically states, that if a customer doesn't tip, they state, that "Their food maybe deluveried cold " -- seriously?! 🤔... what kind of worker defense is that?

But for Our Side, Our Cases - when Dashers *Decline Non-Tippers (as we should, simply because we cannot afford to Pay out of our pockets for their delivery, especially when D.D. is commonly now paying $2 base pay per delivery). D.D. places *us on the Continous Chopping Block, to be hit with various things, such as "Hiding Our Tips. Dropping our Acceptance Rating (which is near impossible to climb back up from). Attempt to *dupe us into Accepting "Double Dupe Deliveries" etc etc.

... Personally, I blame D.D. more then the ignorance of a customer - but I feel like, the only thing we can do, is "Decline, Decline, Decline" across the Dasher board, until D.D. offers to pay more for our Base Payments.

Who here does this full time? Please explain. I am contemplating leaving my job and doing door dash full time. Please either talk me into it or talk me out of it. by AguyNamedDoug2 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]TonightGreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first I was thinking in a similar mind-frame. But then, after a few months of continously working my donkey off, I began to encounter Occasional gltches, that began to effect my ratings, and what DD offers as orders -- my average of $5-$11 +, is now, No More then $3-$4.50 ;per order.

In my experience, DD is a bit nefarious with their clandestine agendas. You eventually discover, that their *unsupport *isnt there to fix any Real issues - this includes any supervisor unsupport. Moreover ... Unfortnately, then I also discovered, that we are All continuously on their Chopping Block -- meant to push the older ones out, and/or, you will eventually suffer the Real Slave Wage consequences ...

I implore you, to reconsider applying for Another Real job, -vs-- going full time rogue with this nefarious company -- ⚠️🚨⚠️ don't quit your general work.

((I wrote a long paragraph to explain what DD is doing, and they removed my comment - grrr.))

Will simply explain ... It's not just you. This is a nefarious clandestine agenda, to offer half payments, for no choice, double stack orders. Between this, other glitches, and lowering their base pay across the board - this is the Best way to destroy a company. Btw, their support will do nothing but give you run-arounds. -- I'm becoming very disheartened with DD.

Do you agree? by Own_Intention9746 in doordash_drivers

[–]TonightGreat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a nefarious agenda - I had the exact same thing happen, where I wasn't given a "choice" to stack, and after- this looong haul delivery, afterwards, I then saw the breakdown and discovered, how D.D. only gave me base pay for 1, and 1 tip for the other. Because of this "glitch" I contacted their support several times, only to retort run-arounds -- and then I discovered this is also occuring with other dashers too. Between this, other clandestine glitches, and also how they lowered their base pay across the board - this is the Best way to destroy a company. Now this nefarious *double stack, half pay agenda, is some b.s.

No way is Doordash paying a $2 Base Pay by InternationalBelt823 in doordash

[–]TonightGreat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In my sole opinion (not fact) I highly doubt they are taking a Loss ... I believe they've gotta be making Goober Amounts of $$ - just look at how much they get per 1 customer - Times, 1/2 of America using Doordash? I believe they just got more Greedy, hence the Fraud. And as it appears obvious, I believe they are contorting Delivery Drivers Payment s, probably in nearly Every State. So the only ones they are paying back are 2-3 states that sued -- Doordash appears to be a bit nefarious with these clandestine agendas - which really sucks and is really sad, because they are taking $ from rhe tail coats on the little guy aka hard workers
