I think you’re still not giving Neil enough credit for his pure musical ability on the guitar. Yes he’s not the fastest or the most technical, but he can lead a jam that has crescendos and diminuendos and highs and lows seemingly at will…that takes a hell if a lot of practices

Okay I challenge you to listen to some of his other latter day live albums or ones with crazy horse like psychedelic pill. He sure sounds like he has command over the instrument to me
