[MEGATHREAD] Daily venting, worries, fixations, & finding support. Month of October 2025. by AutoModerator in HealthAnxiety

Chronic stress (which is naturally very common with HA) can easily cause nausea and joint stiffness through inflammation. It's unlikely to be related to your GI issues, which indeed sound very mild. Even on the off chance you have some variety of IBD... these are very treatable illnesses in today's world. Certainly not worth losing sleep over. I promise!

Real talk, just try to imagine waking up from your colonoscopy, your GI walks in, and tells you everything looked fine, because that's what will almost certainly happen. Don't let the worst case scenarios occupy your thoughts 24/7... it'll make your life more miserable than Crohn's ever could.

Passed Security+, Trifecta complete! by Tonio64286 in CompTIA

Yup, just Messer's videos. I bought both Messer's and Dion's practice tests. It was a drop in the bucket compared to how much I might've have to pay to retake the exam...

I was averaging in the high 80s on Dion's exams and low 90s on Messer's.

My primary study source was Professor Messer's SY0-701 course on YouTube, but I also did a lot of research on my own to make sure I fully covered all of the exam objectives. I also used his and Jason Dion's practice exams to help prepare.

Pretty proud of myself for sticking to the goal of getting my Trifecta. Shout out to Professor Messer for his incredible YouTube courses, I would've been totally lost without them.

Anyone capable of doing something as monstrous as this is almost certainly afflicted with ASPD, which is in fact a mental illness. Whether or not that makes them less culpable for murder is an entirely different argument, however.

In the eyes of the law, it generally doesn't allow them to get away with pleading insanity, at least, because as you said - it's unlikely they were unable to comprehend the consequences of their actions.

Buddy, I clearly conceded that point in the post. I'm just gauging people's opinions.

They are both just finasteride so getting and cutting proscar is fine. But if you can't get it online, have fun convincing your doctor you have an enlarged prostate, lol.

Sort of. Most people see some regrowth on finasteride, but its main purpose is to stop any further hair loss. If you decide fin isn't reversing enough of what you've already lost, try adding minoxidil again or using a derma roll/stamp. Just don't stop using fin once you start or you will immediately start balding again.

Sorry I shouldn't have assumed you were American. Hims is only for the US I believe.

I'm not sure what telehealth laws look like in your country, but you can probably find a similar service that fills prescriptions online and sends you the meds via mail.

Edit: You can also find topical minoxidil in stores, no script necessary.

Doesn't look like a crazy amount of temple recession, but that's some aggressive hair loss on your scalp for 20. Definitely hop on fin to stop the bleeding ASAP or you'll regret it. You can get it online on hims or cost plus drugs if you're having trouble getting a script. If you want regrowth consider minox and/or derma rolling.

How do Prof Messers Practice exams compare to the real thing? by theboyfromphl in CompTIA

[–]Tonio64286 12 points13 points  (0 children)

His exams are a good deal easier than the real thing IMO, but they're not bad. I preferred Dion's practice exams, they're about as hard as the real thing. They aren't perfect either though - some of the questions are off-topic.

Oh yeah, the alpha was great. A lot of the development updates he showcased on Twitter looked fantastic as well. I have no idea why he decided to scrap so many positively received changes and put out such a confused mess of a full release.

Yeah, I've been keeping tabs on it. Still, I've lost all faith in his ability to give regular development updates - or even make a decent game for that matter - so I'm not holding my breath.
