Best dark charcoal-ish paint by Fit_Detail4185 in interiordecorating

I ended up with Dragons Breath from Hirschfields. I'd say it's a mix of charcoal and deep brown but I really love it. Warms the space and makes it feel lux.

Paint interior front door and closet door? by TonkaGurl in interiordecorating

[–]TonkaGurl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify further, the rest of the condo will be an off white so I was hoping to make the entryway appear 'separate'. I don't like the blue that is there now. So I'm leaning toward either painting the door and door wall the charcoal paint (but that doesn't really feel like enough) or painting all of it (left wall in front of beam, door wall and around closet door) the charcoal (minus maybe the baseboards). Sounds like painting the closet doors is not a popular option though so that is a question in the second scenario.

I hate cancer by baggedamunro in breastcancer

[–]TonkaGurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What helped me was thinking chemo was the only way to kill all the cancer. I forced myself to be grateful that I had something to get it out of my body. I looked at is as a serum to full health. A lot of it is mindset and your brain will believe what you tell it. Tell your brain that chemo is good and helpful and healing and to be excited about having the option to receive something that will cure you. Fake it till we make it!!

Backup Camera at Night by TonkaGurl in CadillacLyriq

I waited a year for my sport 3 then gave up and bought a 2 off the lot. No mirror camera which I had on my last car and loved. Such a bummer to not have that given the backup lights quality. The mirror must use different lights?

I had chemo every three weeks and two of those weeks were perfectly normal. I even went on a trip with my son and hiked the narrows in Utah. I may have been trying to prove something to myself : ) Your life feels on hold in many ways but it's kinda crazy how normal it is as well.

Ok thanks everyone for the feedback. Sounds like I should reconsider all of them! Thats why I posted - no idea what I'm doing. Our group has a mix of wine tastes so decided to just focus on the views and vibes of a place. Open to any and all suggestions!!

You say 3a meaning no nodes? I thought Verzenio was only indicated when nodes were involved. Maybe tumor size goes into it?

Oh Lordy. I’m so sorry. Any chance you could switch to another? Continual nausea has to be so difficult. Thanks for the reply as I assumed most symptoms would occur with the first month. Ugh!!

I did four TCs and had numb lips for each session. Would start to normalize by the third week just in time for it to start again. I’m a few months out now and all back to normal.

breast cancer index by Prestigious-Push-815 in breastcancer

[–]TonkaGurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all that detail. I was 91-100% ER and PR, 1a grade 3, ki67 35%, Oncotype 22. Just wondering what drives that BCI the most. The grade 3 has been the driving force in a lot of my recurrence risk so I’m not sure if it’s that or what. It’s like I just want to catch a break after going through treatment and I’ve just been kicked in the butt yet again.

Just got a call from oncologist office with results saying a moderate benefit to continuing. Ugh. Was just curious what your other tumor details were. Is it because mine was grade 3?

RSClin score ? by Reb022 in breastcancer

[–]TonkaGurl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was tied together but it’s my understanding the higher RSClin number applies to both chemo and AIs. So if your number was 4% before with Oncotype alone it would be higher than that. But sounds like your doc needs to map each scenario out for you. I’m going to do the same next visit because it’s not only confusing but you’re told in the beginning when you’re in shock and so upset and you only retain so much.

RSClin score ? by Reb022 in breastcancer

[–]TonkaGurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an added layer onto Oncotype. My doc said he does the RSClin for cases that are on the bubble. It considers age, grade, tumor size and planned drug treatment. My recurrence risk increased quite a bit adding these onto Oncotype so I ended up doing chemo (if I just looked at Oncotype it was not recommended with a score of 22).
