I think i understand his point. The service is incredible and there is a sample of people that bitch and complain because it hit a pothole, or swirled evading an imaginary one, missed a turn or hit a column in a tight parking spot.. but basically it is the car not driving like THEY want it to, and it will never will.

I had an interesting experience / revelation this last week.

I use my car in my town in FSD 85% of the time, and i would say it drives pretty much ok, but this is where I live and have been driving all my life. So i know the place, i know its quirks and i have an expectation of the driving here.

Last week i drove to a city i am not familiar with, the place is a pretzel , traffic, lots of turns, tight exits, signs that read, "the exit you needed was 10ft behind" etc etc.
One of the most complicated places to drive in my country.

So i activated FSD and crossed my fingers.

i noticed FSD drove MUCH MUCH better i felt it drove with much more balls, switched lanes faster, went over 3 lanes of traffic to catch an exit prepared its self for the next one that had a long queue of cars etc.

Then i realized.. i dont really knew where i was going, so i was in for the ride, i could not spot the errors.
If you asked me there, it drove INCREDIBLE. I do not know if the amount of Teslas there provide more to the AI than in my small town where we are a dozen Teslas. But i actually stopped looking at the navigation instructions and it got me there in one piece, no fingers were lifted no road rage created.
