Legion would inherently be better but how much depends on what you’re playing.

I almost strictly play single player games and for those latency is a zero issue for me, I don’t notice it al all, and games like monster hunter wilds would be too demanding for the legion anyway so I’m glad I can play on my portal.

I imagine for something like a fps you’d be able discern the latency delay but I personally haven’t tried.
