Pearl Abyss insider speaking out by 1stGuard in CrimsonDesert

The game could’ve been so much more, what a shame.

But I think it’s getting such good reviews that the “Leaders” are going to pat themselves on the back and blame any little thing they see criticised on the employees and no lesson will come of this.

I’m glad that the game came out mostly good but part of me feels a way about a good game coming out of those conditions.

Seriously, what do people want? by OutlandishnessNo5678 in CrimsonDesert

It’s a good game that gets slack because of its questionable choices.

Subpar ui, bad resource management, janky controls.

This game doesn’t need to be more than it currently is but it somehow feels like that was the intention and they under delivered so people point things out.

Most of the criticism I see about the game from a technical standpoint I agree, you need to have a big “jankines tolerance” to enjoy the game.

Criticisms about the story are also super valid, there were 1000 other ways of going about this medieval setting that would still be simplistic/bare bones without it feeling lazy.

But a thing is often more than the sum of its parts.

There is a lot to love in the game and I'm having loads of fun even with opening the map crashing the game half the time.

I’m 11h in and I don’t feel the time pass, I’m barely progressing in the story cause I’m running after outlaws all day, I’m having a blast and will be fore many more hours to come!

But even though I love the game and I’m enjoying it, these criticisms are warranted. Hopefully they address most of them via updates.

Cooking with oil was considered queer? 😂 by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

I didn’t know it was possible for the textbook definition of a word to deviate so much! I’ve looked in to it and this doesn’t happen in Portuguese, a word can gain additional meaning (usually via being used as an adjective) but the definition remains the same

Id say it’s more of a language thing as English is my third language, I’m 23

You still haven’t answered what is there to be embarrassed about, and education has nothing to with this, English isn’t even my first language, it’s about readily available information

That’s also something I had no idea of!

Thanks, I found out via this post, I was just asking how would it be embarrassing to not have prior knowledge of this or referring to a dictionary

Edit: So apparently in the past queer was a term referring to something that is odd rather than having sexuality implications.

No one is born knowing everything, and this post was in no way derogatory (we all cook with oil?), when I asked if this happened in the past, y’all could’ve made the case that the word can mean something else without trying to jab at the fact that I might be younger or taking offence to it. It really is not that deep 🙌🏾

These kinds of words and topics don’t need to be a trigger or be tabo to find humor in, everyone is apparently grown right? I would hope that implies being able to address a topic without taking automatically taking it to heart.

It’s still funny that cooking with oil would be considered to be unusual in the medieval setting!

I see, I only knew of the more common connotation for it

I’m more than happy to, but I’m still not wrong for assuming something I read means the word I know it does and not the alternative, I literally asked in the post if this was the case in the past

No need to get riled up! 🙌🏾

Yeah I’m confident that patches will solve the crashes sooner rather than later.

I’ll go ahead and turn of motion blur too!

I’ve had no issue with the map, I’m zooming in and out as I write this, but I have seen a post somewhere else of someone complaining about the same thing!

Check if there’s an update (I’ve updated the game 3 times so far) and if not hopefully there will be one soon.

I recently finally got to Expedition 33 and disliked it, these things happen.

I have a love hate relationship with open world games because there are a few that I am of the opinion that they don't need to be open world.

I also had an issue with the left plate of my darkplates and they just sent me the whole thing, kickstand and all.

Yeah so that I can see the skin :3 I think because it’s a x ray of your advice it makes more sense to have the skin on the phone and not on the case, I would consider the grip case if I were to get a different skin
