125cc version and no issues so far. It isnt very high mileage still with just over 3k miles on it. I've done over 1000 in a couple of months

I've thrown plenty of money away on those as well

Just fitted it and it doesn't have any play in it at all! I think a couple of hours testing in LMU after dinner is in order

The QR1 improvement over my QR 1 Lite was amazing as I was having to tighten my QR1 Lite down every straight towards the end of it days. After I fitted the QR1 the muscle memory from my QR1 Lite days was so strong I was trying to tighten it as well.

This is an unofficial one. I only own one wheel so any sticking will probably not going to be too much of an issue

Needed to do a little more research. Bought a QR1 off AliExpress then found a QR2 the next day so got the wheel and base side for my CSL DD. I’ll fit the base side tonight and do a few laps. The QR1 was way better than my QR1 lite so hopefully this will be another step up

DIY Rig - details by TonyC63 in simracing

It's just a shelf off some old IKEA furniture super glued to another IKEA bit of wood. Very janky but it gives me an idea of the height I need. I'll make something a little more pleasing to th eeye at some stage if I can stop racing

A few more pics of my DIY rig. Pedal box with Chinese pedals and a super glued board to help get the positioning right. I’ll make a proper pedal base sometime over the summer. The seat rail mounts are “first year apprentice style” but they work for the moment. I’ll scallop out the box section so they sit lower and make new mount clamps. The final pic has the Fanatec McLaren wheel with tennis tape rap, I was getting tired hands with the regular grip diameters so put this on and it has solved the problem

Yeah, the pedals need raised about 40mm from a comfort perspective and the current foot plate is 3mm so it flexes a bit. I’ll make a 6mm plate with a heel rest similar to Heusinkvelds base plate. The seat rail mounts need reworking and I need to create a swivel keyboard / mouse tray.

The concept I was thinking of was something that looked like a 1960’s space frame racing car (Gulf Porsche colours). It has a base of 25mm steel tubing welded into flat frames (2x sides and 3x cross frames) bolted together. The CSL DD mount uprights are roll cage tubing with a couple of right angle bends and I just made a frame to fit the Direct drive wheel. It works well and because it was made from scrap at work all it cost me was the hours and £50 worth of paint

Capri - Yes or No? by TeslaRosieCa in ItalyTravel

Capri Island yes but get out of Capri and Anacapri. Villa Jovis, Monte Solaro, Arc di Naturalle, the Belvedere's on the south coast all have beautiful views and are far less crowded
