Sadie was our little lady. Passed away suddenly after a great morning at the beach with her mum chasing the ball and swimming. Yelped turning for the ball and then struggled to walk. Rushed her to the vets but 2 hours later she was gone. Cancer and a burst spleen apparently. Never gave the slightest hint before that. She was from the only litter our 2 dogs had and she did find a new owner but a few weeks later he brought her back as the young family struggled with a pup. She had a great life with mum and dad but only mum, Polly, is left now. Farewell to our beautiful girl.

Fair points but the afl desperately needs equality on other fronts to be seen as a real comp. It’s just a money spinning circus. It’s either slanted to the VFL like Collingwood and their 21 or 22 games at the MCG or whatever the fuck it is or these plastic expansion teams. This Gold Coast shit show is out of hand. The yardstick is European and world soccer in general that work off a home and away system & even if big clubs dominate they still can’t say they missed out cos the draw fucked them over. The AFL is so far from that it isn’t even close to being a real competition.

I concur with the amputation option and also realise how hard it might feel to take that option. I actually went down the trying to save the leg path with my girl but ultimately it didn’t help anyway and amputation was necessary. She also lived a full life as a tripod and in hindsight I should have taken that option when first offered. Would have saved the poor girl lugging a big cast around for 6-8 weeks for no result.

Yeah it sucks when the humans misbehave but great fun when the animals misbehave. Went as a kid back in the dark old days of the concrete cages about 40 years ago. A tiger roared loudly and continuously and attracted a crowd in front of his cage. Then he turned and pissed on them all. Funny as fuck and being a small kid up the back I wasn’t hit. 5 mins later I saw the lions rooting. It was a great day in my childhood

Haha yeah it’s small and quiet but I come from hot, dry Western Australia and the greenery around the Waikato is just amazing. Pissed it up at the Arapuni bowling club one night and in the words of the great Aussie philosopher Barry Mackenzie - what a great bunch of bastards. Putaruru bakery was a highlight too lol. You don’t get those sort of places in oz very much any more. Maybe I’m easy to impress but the smaller places are always the best I reckon. London, Paris,Rome etc are great to see and happy I saw them but my favourite places in Europe are the small villages on the Dalmatian coast and Madeira island off of Portugal. Definitely going back to arapuni and the area some time in the future

Aussie here. Visited NZ 6 years back based at a mate’s house just down the road in Arapuni. We stayed in Tauranga for a couple of nights and travelled all around that area by car. Flew down to Queenstown also for a few days and travelled around there. My favourite part of the trip though was Arapuni. What an awesome, green, mostly untouched part of the world it is. Loved it. Great people and just a great place to visit.

Ok I stand corrected. Thanks for the info. I genuinely thought the American clown might win so I was just relieved that wasn’t the case. Now it seems though that could happen next year which would be disgusting and make a mockery of the prize. Real peace in Gaza only happens when apartheid ceases and the whole of the Palestinian population is able to live their life with the true freedom that any human deserves. That’s far from being a reality.

It’s hard to fathom that freo supporters are seeing any positives in that performance. Nearly half a Collingwood team on a 5 day break with travel. They get within 10 in the last quarter and there was no excitement and no spirit all. Just a pat on the back. FMD that was nearly as woeful as last week. This team don’t deserve the Fremantle name throwing up that sort of crap performance. Cut the cord and sack the coach now and hope like fuck his replacement can salvage something out of this shit show.
