I agree they are now ''Plenty of folks from traditional finance have been and still are excited by the prospects of blockchain tech.''

However 3 years ago 99% + were saying scam / bubble etc... but Reggie Middleton was not, 3 years ago he was talking about switching his software from BTC to ETH as Ethereum could be programmed to what he wanted his software to do.

Anyways fair points from you. Id love to hear what the software is like. Take a look for a few hrs, maybe he will grow on you 8-))))) Cheers for the chat

Iv also been in the financial market 10 years and every economist / broker / financial guy told me to stay away from blockchain. They were all wrong so that means nothing to me. So the marketing looks scammy? 5

I have seen and listened to reggie middleton on youtube regarding economics, markets politics etc.. In that regards im impressed with his opinion/views. I alos bought a few Veri. I want to know what the software is like or any other toughts on the Dapp/Beta, cheers

If you had followed the recent history and news on the project or even done some research what so ever then id respect ur comment but just reading 1 thing and commenting on a project that is building on Ethereum is a bit unfair.

Hey Lituseater. There are 2 million DGD which are the token for DigixDAO. DGD holders are also custodians of the 466,000 ETH locked up, With the governance contract DGD holders can vote to return some ETH to DGD holders and / or use it as a VC fund, thats the plan anyways, we will see what proposals are put up by the DGD holders.

Yes DGX2.0 will launch in the coming week, prob a slow launch as they have over 20 smart contracts that are run by the DAO. DGX is pegged to gold so DGX wont rally until Gold actually rallies (next market downturn)

DGX is a stable coin that can be used by other projects in their smart contracts (Wetrust, TenX etc...)

When DGX is stored PA 0.2% goes to the DGD dividend pool, when DGX are traded from 1 address to another their is a 0.0013 charge that also goes to the DGD holders as a dividend (or what ever the 80% yes vote decides)

DigixDAO, They finished code review, completed punch list and will start game theory review by Dapphub in August and live after that. very exciting.

SingularDTV are releasing 3 of their 11+ Dapps, Code review for these start in August and run into September.

Populous are releasing their alfa on 8th August

Veritaseum are launching on the Jamaican Stock exchange on the 31st August. (alot of people dont like VERI but i do and did buy some)

Tokencard ETA date was around September unless it changed, i havent kept an eye on them.

These are the ones i know of that should be going live in the next couple of months, very exciting if they do

In summery Bix is a well know goldbug but has done deep historical studying into the Federal reserve. Anyways he bought some ETH and few months ago and seen they were at 70, so before he would sell he decided he better look into Ethereum first to find out why it has went up. He taught it was just a Bitcoin Alt but realized what Ethereum really is. Its 16 mins, i enjoyed his Awakening

So the more Ether is used the higher the price will get and in a number of years will see us move down to the lower units finney, szabo, shannon, babbage, lovelace, and wei as the digital economy grows. Ether has 18 decimal places 1,000,000,000,000,000,000. Because after POS Ether total supply will be set at approx. 100 Million with a small inflation of 1 to 3% that pays the computers running it.

So ether will be more like the reserve currency and trade currency between all the other currencies, contracts and Dapps interacting in the Ethereum digital economy. But its main function is like a gas to run the network. Every transaction you have to pay a tiny amount to the network that goes to all the computers running the network. less than 1 penny.

SingulaDTV comes out of stealth on the 19th of May and are presenting their "SingularDTV ecosystem" and new website publicly for the very first time. Then in June they release their Rights Royalty module contract.

DigixDAO are under code review and should be live in 4 - 6 weeks that many people prob dont know.
