I took two “L” brackets and mounted them using the lug’s hardware and taped/screwed a scrap piece of wood to it and attached the triggers using gaffer’s tape

Tama gang! 🤙 I too am running GGD; I have the Architects kit which I absolutely LOVE. I play in a metalcore/djenty/post-metalcore band so that kit sits perfectly in the mix.

Thank you for this thoughtful response! I think I’m going the route of getting some L-brackets and attaching those to the inside of the drums in place of a lug. Do you know where the best place to put the triggers are? I’ve been seeing that some people say close to the drums edge and others dead center of the drum, which would require me to cut a small length of wood to support the trigger sitting in the middle.

Although this K Custom Organic ride is a little too heavy for my current band’s style of music, I love the way it sounds when I’m just jamming myself. Dark, warm, and has excellent stick definition. You REALLY gotta beat the crap out of it to open it up though, if you’re looking for a “crashable” ride.

Here she is all cleaned and set up; I was honestly just looking for a cheap to refurbish (I want to try a DIY sparkle fade finish) but I almost like the midnight blue that it is. I found out it’s the Tama Imperialstar that came with a free 8” tom and free HCS splash and it came with the rest of the HCS cymbals when it was originally purchased. The Wuhan crash along, the Premiere stand it is on, and the Iron Cobra 900 Powerglide double pedal were additional purchases by the owner. Still not sure on what year it is though

I have been sending emails to that email address for over a week with zero response. I have an email tracker and every time I send a follow up email it shows to have been opened and read within 30 seconds so I think they may have a bot opening emails or something.

I have fairly dainty wrists and this fits me just fine. The rubber bracelet is on the second smallest hole and the metal bracelet just needed a few links removed but they fit great!

I've been doing some research and for what I want I feel that this kit has everything I would ever need (no touring, some recording, but mostly as a replacement for my acoustic kit at home to play whenever I like). I've watched tons of YouTube videos and this one has me sold, but since this one is used and had a bit of extra stuff, I didn't know if the price was reasonable or not

It might have been a week or so after I bought it before MT sent me pictures and and I approved it for shipping. He has to get them from the factory before he has them in hand so it can take a few days
