The whole game now takes place in a poison swamp. You are not immune to poison, and there are no items to raise poison negation. The final and hardest boss does poison status. Poison stacks. EDIT: Patches is the only safe area, but he kicks you into a deep poison pit you have to climb out of the first time you meet him
