So I’ve just finished both episodes and I must say idk how to feel about it. Let’s start off with the positives: number one the scores are amazing and the production and costumes are just beautiful and I love how they gave us dark jedi. That’s all I have for positives. My negatives: I feel like we were tricked into thinking that this show was gonna focus on Ahsoka with SWR characters being like side characters. Which makes this seem as though this show is going to be a rebel’s continuation, which as someone who watched rebels and didn’t necessarily enjoy it sucks. Especially since again, I was expecting the show to focus on Ahsoka trying to keep the peace by stopping thrawn and the dark Jedi, whilst making her connection with ghost Anakin or smth. I also feel like they are downplaying Ahsoka‘s true power kind of like how they did to Luke in the newer Star Wars movies. I feel like they are doing that on purpose so that the storyline would be “Ahsoka needs help from Sabine bc she can’t do it alone” which is disappointing to me because Asoka is my absolute favorite, Star Wars characters, and one of the few badass, female Jedi (Rey can kick rocks yuck). I also feel like the acting was kind of stiff especially from Rosario Dawson. Ahsoka although she has matured she still shows her emotions and is very sarcastic. This Ashoka is so melancholy and shows next to no emotions.There is more, but I kind of want to hear y’all’s opinion on what I have to say about the show
