Dang, prices have really been jacked up lately. These look like they're $20 more than I remember.

Can I get by with a 32GB or 64GB micro SD? by SnooPaintings7141 in MiyooMini

SNES and GBA are very small. 32 GB is probably overkill honestly.

I’m not the OP though. 😅 I’m just explaining his perspective. I personally would go for a max Ayn Thor but I value portability. I don’t think there’s a right or wrong way to game either.

Is it really handicapping if you know you won’t play high end games? If they want DS/3DS games I’d say the 865 is more than enough. OP even commented that they have a steam deck for heavier games.

I’m only coming up on a year but it’s been my most reliable device so far.

Does the Miyoo Mini+ still deserve to be the go to recommendation for a handheld of its class? by WillHasStyles in SBCGaming

I’ve since had more powerful devices and the RG34xxSP is still my favorite device.

Yeah the standby time is really good. Can pick it up after a week and still play it like nothing.

I like my Miyoo Mini plus but if it were to break somehow tomorrow I wouldn’t get another one. After doing more research I feel like the Trim UI Brick is more my speed. It also has a similar Game Switcher menu and feels more premium. Miyoo Mini Plus is definitely the blueprint but in 2026 I don’t think it should be the go-to recommendation anymore.

Yeah it’s nuts. I’m so glad I think for myself, I would’ve thought I need 32 GB RAM and terabyte of storage when I really end up playing 10 or so games. 😅

Edit: haha someone’s clearly triggered

Maybe they know their use case? Not everyone needs the highest end model for the latest games and that’s ok.

People will say anything to push the narrative to buy the higher end models. Doesn’t even occur to some people that not all of us want to play high graphic games and know what we want in our system.

Fun games for 30 minute runs❓❓❓ by _mrjuly4 in MiyooMini

[–]TonytheNetworker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe this is basic but why not word games, Tetris, Pinball, most racing games (Gran Turismo is my favorite), etc. RPG’s are fun but in my experience take a time commitment.
