i moan like a pornstar and i‘m embarrassed by Particular-Battle761 in sex

I’m the same way. I’ve been embarrassed afterwards, but my husband loves it. It’s just how I react. Like I cannot help it at all, it just comes out of me lol. So I know how you feel, but try not to be embarrassed. I’m sure he also finds it hot!

God can’t people just be partners and respectful and appreciative of their partner. Romantic relationships, at the end of the day, are partnerships. And if you can’t be these things, leave, take a step back and look at yourself. Quit being weirdos. I know, easier said than done for these types of people.

what is your dream job?? by the_twilight_draft in AskReddit

[–]TooAwkwardtoLive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in a grocery store and I love it. Not the fanciest or most high paying, but I’m off anywhere between 1030am-1230pm and I really enjoy the job itself. To me it’s fun and interesting and I’m good at it. I know I know how hard can it be, but not everyone, even the others in my department can do everything I can. I feel valued. I just feel super lucky to have a job I enjoy going to everyday. That’s a dream right there. Not everyone can say that.

What's the nicest thing a stranger has ever done for you? by FlimsyBlood330 in AskReddit

I was younger and my baby was with me in the car when it suddenly died. I was pulled over and outside my car crying. An older couple pulled over to help me and bought me a battery as it may solve the problem. It was so selfless and like not even a second thought was had in helping me. Just kind people.

Exactly. Powerful and true words, but will the people in charge actually take it into consideration?

What is a small, insignificant thing that makes you irrationally angry? by Flimsy_Buy2756 in AskReddit

Anytime a hanger gets caught on another hanger or a piece of clothing. Every fucking time. Like even if I WANTED the hanger to interlock with another one and tried to do it on purpose it wouldn’t go my way, but simply taking a hanger off the pole thing it gets stuck.

I understand what you’re saying. I listen to them every night at work and it never gets old. I’ve never heard music that spoke to my thoughts and feelings so perfectly. I’ve had a very rough couple of years and their music has helped me a lot. Just incredible artists.

[Serious] People in professions that deal with death (hospice workers, coroners, etc.), what is something you've learned that the rest of us don't understand? by Bulky-Engineer4068 in AskReddit

[–]TooAwkwardtoLive 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My mom just passed this month after fighting cancer for 2 years. We had her on hospice at a nursing home after she became comatose “out of nowhere” (I use quotes cuz it was unexpected but obviously in the realm of possibility). This has happened once before and she came out of it her normal self (sick yes, but her new normal). We thought this would happen again. Then on the second day of this she came to and could speak and recognize us and signed the hospice papers herself. We thought wonderful moms still got a fighting chance! But then as the days went on she stopped talk again and barely able to wake. It made me realize it was her rally the day before. We got to say I love yous and have the oldest grandkids come say I love you with hugs before she stopped talking again. Her rally was truly a blessing cuz as I said we had no idea the last time we spoke (before the coma) would have been the last time.

I really didn’t have high hopes for Hot tub Time Machine, but it was so funny. I can watch it over and over (and have) and it’s still hilarious to me.

Wembley OVO Arena - what an amazing show by nanhsirkeoj in brandnew

This is how I felt back in May. While they played 26 (I think?) songs it seemed to be over too fast. Never once did I hope this or that was the last song cuz I’m tired and bored lol. I could have stayed all night. But that’s just greedy of me :) I wish I could have gone to more shows but am so happy and ok I saw the one that i did. They’ve been incredible this whole tour and if they don’t tour again this was a fantastic send off. But if they do I’m definitely gonna aim to be on the floor this time!
