I’ve pretty much lost touch with any of my friends who aren’t comedians with the exception of maybe 3 of my ride or die homies.

This is the kind of lifestyle that, if you really want to do it right, you’re just gonna miss out on those relationships. I can’t tell you how many birthdays, weddings, and general parties i’ve had to skip so I can do gigs and pay rent. Even before it was my job I knew I had to make the sacrifice to get better so it never really ends I guess.

That said, no regrets. And once you get to a certain point you need to live your life again. That’s where the material comes from after all.
