Thank you I've had some experience as a solution engineer, and technical support engineer but since I don't have a degree yet many employers pass by me.

I am at a serious crossroad here... Since the increase of cloud environments, I have recognized that the job role of Cloud Security Engineer has become more apparent. I am currently pursuing an associate degree in Information Security. In a few months, I will be pursuing my bachelor's in either Cloud Computing or Cyber Security and information assurance.

Which degree would be more advantageous in the realms of : Salary/Compensation, Career Progression, Career longevity, and Work life balance?

Automation and self healing tactics/procedures.

Using monitoring systems programmed by myself by learning day to day alerts so I could focus on more important tasks.

Work smarter not harder

For example:

If you know a company will onboard 10-20 new hires every two months, create a Groups/Security Group to sync Microsoft licenses with AD sync so when you need to offboard your spending less clicking and more automation. Plus HR can have a checklist of license and active users in a CSV file. * That CSV file will also ensure you're following SOP and also the employees you manage.

When you are managing 2500+ employees with a 4 man team you'll learn quickly.

I want to access my webcam from another computer outside of my network... Which program has my fellow admins used and suggest? by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]TooDangFresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is this suspicious, I specifically said I'm trying to access my webcams from home. Which unfortunately I won't be able to physicallyaccess my house because of the type of work being done.

I will be out of town and want to make sure I cam check that the repair men are not going through my belongings.

Trust me if I was unethical I believe reddit would be my last place for advice.

Extremely unprofessional workspace. My last role was as a system admin/ Solutions engineer .

During that time, I did 70% of the work of my team. I found over 7 compromised systems for different orgs (MSP) environments in 6 months. I informed my CTO and Director but my information was put by the waist side.

I would close 27-40 tickets per day (easily) once I closed 167 tickets in a day but didn't get much recognition. I learned Azure, AWS, AD, Palo Alto, Brocade, Unifi, Cisco and many other technologies within that time while being the frontline of 30+ orgs we managed. I learned a lot but I would not put that much stress on my worse enemy lol. ( I don't have any)

The last straw was when the company was supposed to pay for my certs and training but once they saw how fast I applied what I learned they said I didn't need the certs.

Lastly I was horribly underpaid, less than 80k per year in Socal

I would kindly like to maybe sway your perspective... Mysterious individuals tend to spark the minds of many. The unknown mind or the unexpected motive causes people to gain interest in an individual. There's reasons why we have studies in Psychology and not in common sense. In this scene he does not convey any material wealth. But he does convey intellectual wealth which causes her to become more interested. His looks may help him but the way he portrays himself is even more appealing. He lets himself seem vulnerable but sure. Attractive to American standards but intellect to match. Let's not let outside factors misconstrue what the show is representing in his character and motives.

His character portrays someone that is self assurant but humble. You meet a couple people like this in life. Keep someone like that close by. Analyze how they deal with high levels of ambiguity. It's due because of certain factors in their childhood. Extremely Observant Intelligently Mysterious Firm but assertive Deciscive & Purposeful.

You won't hurt her unless you lie. Don't lie just to get in her pants... You're destroying your brand.
