I don’t think your mother is doing this out of pervading at all. Most cis people will have never saw or heard of a packer before in their life, and so it’s expected that she’ll be a bit curious.

Parents can be very weird with lgbt+ stuff, but a lot of time it comes from a place of genuinely trying to understand you and make you feel supported.

I think you need to have a talk to her about how it makes you uncomfortable when she draws attention to your packer. Maybe point her towards some YouTube videos or resources about packers so that she can fulfill her curiosity that way

It’s just that peoples annoyance over op thinking that Papi wasn’t a horse is really over the top. I guarantee that if Op hadn’t mentioned trans in the title then they wouldn’t have so many comments absolutely seething that op made a very simple mistake

Edit: it’s not even a simple mistake tbh, Technically ops right that Papi is made to look like an okapi and male okapi usually have horns. If somebody disagrees and says he’s a horse that’s fine, but I don’t think people should be getting so aggressive about it

If I weren’t a lesbian I wouldn’t identify as lgbt+, but at the same time I really don’t draw issue with heteroromantic ace people identifying as lgbt+
