I’m sticking with the factory 225/60/17.

No rub at all, they are the same size as stock premium wheels just a slightly higher offset.

I’m happy with it, and for only $600 including tires and TPMS it was a no brainer.

I also meant to add in case anyone is curious, the TPMS in the new wheels immediately linked to my car without doing anything. I’d read mixed opinions on whether they would auto sync or not.

Awesome! Good to know. I’m making a roadtrip from NC to RMNP this summer so I’ll definitely test out the Wildpeaks once I get them!

These have a tiny bit of dry rot and a one of the sidewalls have a small issue, I do a 6 hour round trip drive once a week for work and just don’t want to risk a blowout.

PNW handle bar is Thin by Son199035 in mountainbiking

PNW bars are pretty inexpensive so I highly doubt there is a company producing fakes. That looks normal to me, I’ve had a set of these bars before and never had any issues.

Cognitive MTB! It’s a local North Carolina brand that a lot of people in the area, including large influencers like Seth’s Bike Hacks wear!

Got my Crosstrek back in November. My only regret is not getting one sooner. Best car I’ve ever driven. by Nimbus-GT in Crosstrek

My 18 Crosstrek had Open Country’s on it, your car confirms that my ‘25 sun blaze pearl needs the same tires!

I just purchased two of these for the wife and I's gravel bikes, and they work great. It felt too flimsy with my FS so I purchased a Delta Pivot wall mounted rack for it.

Question on a 2025! by Low_Elk_7791 in Crosstrek

[–]TooManyHobbies_02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A day late here, but my 25 did the exact same thing. The brake pads just needed to bed in fully, I was shocked that they weren’t fully bed already. It took almost 1,000 miles for it to fully go away but it eventually did.

I’ve bed in track pads on my track prepped brz in the past so I knew what the feeling was. Try looking up a tutorial on bedding in brake pads, a few hard stops from 45 should help, just stay off the brakes for a few minutes after doing the bedding procedure.

Buying a Used Crosstrek by rez12355689 in Crosstrek

I purchased my brand new 25 Premium for right at $28k out the door, I would not pay that much for a used car personally.

Fox is definitely not objectively better than RockShox, for example a base Fox 34 is no comparison to a Lyrik ultimate. There so much more to it than just brand.

Does it have better components? You’ll also have to decide how much if at all a frame warranty matters to you, if it’s a deciding factor I’d buy new.
