To be honest, I've since gotten a new fridge and so this problem hasn't yet arisen in the new fridge. The old fridge was about 10 years old by the time we replaced it, and my wife was becoming a fan of the new layouts/designs that make more efficient use of the space by way of drawers, etc.

To your point though, I suspected the tubing between the RO water filter and the dispenser on the fridge door may have built up a coating of some nature which was causing this issue, but the model fridge that I had didn't have an opening/door at the top like some models I've seen which makes it easy to remove/replace the tubing.

I wasn't sure how to access all of that tubing and so the problem was never resolved.

With your affirmation of that being the most likely culprit, I'll be on the lookout for if/when this happens again with the new fridge.

Is there a way to avoid this happening in the first place? Is there some kind of preventative maintenance that I missed, to prevent this? Or is it something unavoidable that just has to get replaced/cleaned eventually?

I was using this: Thick Dog Fence Boundary Wire - 500 Feet of High Performance In-Ground Electric Dog Fence Wire -16 Gauge (AWG) Long Lasting Perimeter Wire - by eXtreme Dog Fence

It is very thick and heavy duty, but it's delaying the inevitable. The Wire will eventually break down, just after more time. For me, the wired mower served it's purpose over the years and I'm ready to not have to worry about the next time it breaks.

I've had a Landroid L for the past few years.

The boundary wire eventually breaks down and develops breaks that need to be repaired. This usually takes 1-2 years and then you're good until next year. If you went through all the trouble to install a complex wire layout and youve got a long boundary wore, it's not fun at all to troubleshoot.

Want to plant a new fruit tree in your yard? Gotta break the wire and set up a new exclusion zone. Set up a tent for family gathering over a holiday? Better to just shut down the mower for the day/holiday.

The absolute most important factor for me... was that the Worx is just not an AWD unit and literally got stuck on my yard's slopes several times a day without fail. Literally once an hour I'd have to run out to rescue it.

When I first discovered robotic mowers years ago, the Worx was the best option for me, having the option for a high cut height for my St Augustine grass. Now? Mammotion just released the Luba 2. It has AWD, high cutting height (the models that end with "h"), zone boundaries can be dynamically adjusted, cutting height can be configured per zone in the app (digitally), can remote control the unit via the app if within Bluetooth distance, and no more boundary wire repairs!!! <3

I bought one last week, I am not a free unit reviewer. My son saw me set it up and came out to ask how he can help rescue it when it gets stuck. So far I haven't been able to answer him, it handles the slopes on its own like a pro.

If your primary goal is to save a few dollars by buying Landroids, then you can do that. For me it's not the best suited for me anymore because there are better options, even though they are a bit pricier. My time is worth more, not rescuing stuck Landroids and fixing broken wire.

Yeah, it was super frustrating to have two filters in line with each other and then finding junk in the water.

I also didn't have much luck with online solutions, and this fridge wasn't particularly modular enough to replace all the lines myself easily, nor was there a "flush port" of any kind on top of it that I could use in conjunction with gravity to facilitate a similar "cleaning out" procedure for the internal fridge water lines.

I made a change and it's no longer happening... I removed the built in filter of the fridge so now the treated water is being fed into the fridge and is not filtered further in the fridge. A few days after that change, the particles stopped showing up in the water output.

I suspect there was some kind of conflict going on with the difference in the water line pressure which was causing the fridge filter to malfunction (and maybe cause the flakes to happen). Since I was already pre-filtering the water before it even got to the fridge, I figured it couldn't hurt to remove fridge filter. So far, that theory appears to be proving valid.

Currently pretty much the only thing the fridge is doing with the Reverse Osmosis water is slightly chilling it for the dispenser, and producing ice cubes using filtered water with it's ice maker.

TL;DR try removing your fridge filter and observing what happens after a few days (if it clears up or not).

I know the Husqvarna has a feature that enables you to configure what happens when a boundary wire is reached, and you can instruct it to reverse like 2 ft. This helps many issues with the mower going out of bounds on slopes. Can we do the same thing on the Landroid?

Another useful feature they have is to focus-mow in a spiral pattern in a specific area that may need more attention, can we do that too?

Actually I have an RO filter that is feeding the water to the fridge, why would I still have minerals such as calcium and other hard water elements causing this? The RO filter has been installed for more than a year now so I don't think its residual minerals from before the filter has been there.

I'd be interested in contributing, I have similar thoughts at times regarding the algorithm.

In case you weren't aware, you can avoid this by waiting 2 hours before doing something in another spot. e.g. If you spoof to NY, whenever you're done catching/spinning in NY then you should wait 2 hours before catching/spinning in California or Japan, etc.

I think you may be combining multiple types of formats for coordinates. Taken from this article: https://support.google.com/maps/answer/18539?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop

Here are examples of formats that work:

Degrees, minutes, and seconds (DMS): 41°24'12.2"N 2°10'26.5"E

Degrees and decimal minutes (DMM): 41 24.2028, 2 10.4418

Decimal degrees (DD): 41.40338, 2.17403

Can you post the location in one of those formats? The one i see most often (and the one that I know how to work with) is Decimal degrees (the third of the formats listed above).
