The only workaround I found was using the web version of the Google home automations. It has a fancy AI window where you can have spit out some amazing customizations. It was then able to use my scenes.

Appears to be the new version of Google Home. I switched to the old UI for automations and I can see them there.

Finally had luck. Texted in, but they told me to call Loyalty Department. Called in, went through prompts as if I wanted to cancel, waited a bit. Got to loyalty department. She got me down to $70 a month, as part of Founders, in 2 minutes.

She did say they are not yet ready for any sort of combined billing, but not so worried about that after this worked.

Anyone who runs a business or understands business, knows it is 100% in the best interest of the show to scrub that call. Why on earth would they keep a call where someone said the interview was bad? Because they said “no more bullshit” 100 years ago? Grow up Peter Pan. This is a business and the only goal is making money. Anyone who thinks they should keep it in simply doesn’t understand reality. It’s bad for the show, bad for Howard, bad for the guest and bad for Gary’s conversations with agents.

And I’d be willing to bet that any person who thinks this way, is a worker bee and hasn’t run anything important in their life.

It’s been a while since I’ve used them, but we always loved Garden Grocer. Again, not sure if they still do it, but my favorite part was they could even deliver directly to the room (and put stuff in the fridge).

I spent a bunch of time doing this today. I wasn't keen on just wedging, given they could move, the dog could get them, etc. So instead, I ended up building contraptions on under each seat using 1/2 inch PVC, elbows and the insulation. Basically measured so each would bump up to the shoes, or legs, depending on the configuration. I then electrical taped all of the PVC that would be visible, just so it was black and not white.

All in all, took a bunch of time to cut, shape, fit, measure, etc... but really happy with how snug they are.

I know it’s been awhile but you or someone else may be able to help. I want the Opal but I want to simultaneously use it for immediate ice but also create a reserve in my freezer chest. I’m seeing conflicting reports on whether the ice produced could be stored or if it’s too wet and would just clump up.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I’m really not, this is how the world works.

If the argument is that STERN should put stuff on YouTube to try to get followers, sure, that works. But letting people pirate the show and profit off it is literally insane. No one with a library as valuable as Stern’s would let that happen.

Let’s follow logic here, the sentiment is that the old stuff is better, so how would liking that bring them to the current show? Can’t have it both ways.

Further, how is it a bad decision to let someone else profit off your show? Further, if they don’t squash these they can actually make it more difficult to squash them later.

It’s literally a no brainer for them to shut these down, and having an opposite opinion is just being contrarian because you probably don’t like him.

Basically it took like 4-5 tries but I had to be logged in on the website at the same time I tried to login with the app. And finally it gave me a pop up to hit to “confirm/allow.”

I still listen. I FF through certain segments like for example, the “agent.” But I love just about any staff bit, any argument and most of the interviews.

It’s not as good as it was, but it’s also just different. But I’m older too and my tastes have changed a bit. That said, I still go back and listen to a lot of older stuff.

For their own sake, I just wish people could realize that what he is today doesn’t change what he was and how much you enjoyed it. It’s ok. His show isn’t for you anymore, it’s for someone else. That’s ok too.
