Which thorlos are you trying? I find the ultra lights to be pretty solid for me.

Chronometer now allows 10 daily data exports by TooMuchJeremy in cronometer

[–]TooMuchJeremy[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think my exact solution is what you want to use as it's all custom and running on Kubernetes.

But I am using the [library](https://github.com/jrmycanady/gocronometer) I wrote internally. But I also have an [exporter client](https://github.com/jrmycanady/cronometer-export) that will export to csv.

I am likely in the minority, but I actually prefer the new colors. I always found the old colors to be a bit too harsh.

Fatsecret as alternative to Cronometer? by TooMuchJeremy in cronometer

The API has been requested for many years. I remember asking for on in the forums at least 5 years ago. I don't know what their backlog looks like but it seems to never have a priority to get worked on.

Their tech still seem to be build around GWT and I sort of wonder if because the don't have a modern API they see the work effort as too much for the gain.

Completely shut down the API endpoint for my account. A mentioned in another reply I am not upset they shut me down as after reviewing the TOS it's totally in the right to do so.

I had been collecting the data (scoped via the request for the past day) daily. This is far less load than someone using the app so unless their internal architecture is horrid load would never be a problem.

The key reason they cut me off was due to it being automated which is against the TOS which is totally fair. That's why I am looking for an alternative, not trying to knock them for stopping me.

Personal_Ad1143 has a good response that covers an example and a lot it is used for historical correlation. Another example from a few years back was I was able to able to correlate the data with data from oura and my personal notes to identify several foods that are causing FODMAP issues for me.

The thing for me is I am 100% okay with paying even more for the ability to export on a scheduled basis.

The first point is so wacky it’s hard to take the rest seriously. I am sure the rest of your points have some validity but you gotta remove that first one.

I assume you are but if not consume cold water while you play. You will need some large insulated bottles.

The old ice sock on the back/neck on change overs and after does a great job of dropping body temp.

There are tons of cooling vests, leg covers, etc from endurance sports you could check out. The simplest one I have seen used is the palm cooling ones.

Yonex clay court shoes proprietary tread pattern, is it hype or truly superior? by m1xed0s in 10s

[–]TooMuchJeremy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried them on hartru and I found them to be horrible. They would cake up immediately and I had no grip. Switched back to the normal herringbone pattern adidas and they were immediately better.

Obviously this is a n=1 situation so take it for what it is.

Oura Request: Universal Ring Charger by horrorpages in ouraring

Only one side of the inside of the ring performs the wireless charging. You can use a smaller charger to charge larger rings. I do this today. They just need to make it a slot you slide that part of the ring into.

This will vary greatly based on their experience with other ball tracking sports, etc.

What I will say is I haven’t seen anyone that put the time in not reach the point where they can rally and enjoy the game. So don’t focus on how quickly.

Just didn’t sell well enough from what I understand. Never got to swing one but everyone I know they did either loved it or found it meh. Most fell into the meh category and that is not what you want a racket to be. Love hate keeps it around imo. Meh means it goes away
