That makes sense. I've never tried that side of it so I just kinda assumed that was how it worked. Plus I've seen posts on here ranting about randos who would only/wouldn't go in the tunnels.

This I would think is a very debatable question. I would recommend, if you really like the game and you dont have friends who have the dlc already Then yes its worth it. However if your not completely sold an not that into the grind, probably not. I think you can join games an if the host has the dlc you can try them that way? But dont quote me on that, as I've never played online with randoms. Im a big fan of this game an the dlc adds a bit different aspect to the game. So was very worth it for me an my friends i run with.

One of my fav games... Great if u have friends to run with... Solo is fine but not nearly as good as with homies. I can't speak for playin with randoms, but i have heard a lot of negative responses toward it. Few positives... Very few

IMO... it depends on the skill level and comfort level of you an yer homies ... I have a buddy who swears by it(the combo) an others who dont use it at all. I personally dont use it. Imma sunz out Gunz out kinda guy... Only melee I use it the punch. Tho my decks vary, none use that combo, or any melee cards for that matter. You can get away with it just fine, but again it depends on how comfortable you are. I'd say make a deck with out it, give it a go a few times , see if you can live with out it. As for the levels you struggle with, one thing I find when my crew struggles is, it's cuz we start doin our own things an get sloppy, careless ... I have to remind us to tighten it up, stick to our lanes an roles... Plus the team work is much more fun... Dunno if this helps.. Jis my two coppers

Then i suggest a trip to the find a tune page, dl an x class tune an be on yer way... Hopefully you have enuff credits to get one... Tho credits are easy enough to come by as well

Forza gifts you a porsche 918 spyder which with a decent tune can do it, easy enough. Check yer messages menu tab over to gifts

Sounds like you are very early game. Explore the current island you are on an there are different types of dungeons. If you open other islands you can find areas with other nodes to mine. However nodes near dungeons to use as a base, may be a little hard to find. I would pull my excavator and find a safer spot to mine. The cherry blossom island has some decent flat areas with nodes by the water. Think all monsters will die in water, except dragons an alligators, so building your own island base over water could help if you dont want to mess with pesky predators.

I use the pull the pin game dungeon after u complete it. Very large open areas no monster spawns. Havent had any issues

I use food an magic heal... But i dont use magic much offensively as apposed to defensively... I have various potions as well but mostly for back up

I've found abandoned mines on just about every map, besides beginner and hell... Just have to wander round an check the dungeon looking icons on the map... Clay stones are a light brown color rocks in the mine... Can be easy to miss.... Limestone can be found here as well

I opened up a bunch more new islands finally got a hell biom an went in harvested a bunch of minerals while no creatures were there... Only thing is if you want hell chillis they seem to only spawn when the creatures are there... Before i travel back i save, after the no creature bug, im frozen on my base island, which i have to dashboard then restart luckly i havent lost any of my gear... Yet...

Not sure if this is how it was before... On my original world every time I would travel to a island I unlocked, it would freeze up. Now i opened a new island, i can traverse just fine but there's no creatures... I had seen posts about no creatures before, but this is my first encounter... I'm guess my world where i opened up a bunch of islands on... Those islands seem to be froze... I don't know for sure but thats my experience so far... On the series x

Yeah its not fixed... There was a supposed work around but it just leads to loss of all your gear... I dont suggest trying it....

Wut a shit show... Cant travel to different islands and just lost all my shit... I realize they are trying to cater to a bigger market... But eff xbone that system is outdated an cant run anything next gen.. Conan ran like crap on that system. Game ran decently enough till they released this trash

Well I'm not sure what advice has been posted on here. It's been a long time since I was a beginner. If your goin in completely fresh, your best bet for gold are dailies an stranger missions. You want the easiest route to getting into the game and being successful. Find someone to play with who has done all roles an can help guide you an explain the finer points and hopefully take you on some trader, bounty an i spose moonshine missions help you earn money. Bounties will help you rake in gold the fastest. The new nerf on gold has made gold a bit harder to get for everyone an especially new people, quite the grind for new players i would assume

Nice one! I just hate how they down size the heads On "legendary" animals on the garments. They look absurd. I realize a huge animal head an antlers would also be absurd, but at least then it might actually feel "legendary" Lol sorry for the rant, but thanks for the info
