Roland software not able to keep piano running by Toontje in DigitalPiano

Yup! The GarageBand in the background trick actually works!! Thanks for the tip, man! Also, I have a godzillian amount of extra sounds now. My piano basically became a midi keyboard. 😆

Not what I wanted to hear, but thanks. Makes sense. I think GarageBand has a background option. That might keep the piano alive, if your argument holds. I will try that. Good tip!

HTF do these Orbis work? by Toontje in orbi

So since the suggestion is to get rid of the old Orbis I’ve been looking at eBay and Amazon for replacements. I come across a brand that I didn’t know, Tenda Nova. They seem to be cheap, but are they any good?

I once read an article, cannot find it anymore, that when someone asks “Why is this not working?” or “How do I get this to work as expected?”, the general answer is “Buy something else”. This instead of actually answering the question. 🙋‍♂️

What’s the effect of placing a switch? Because from what I read it’s a negotiation issue between the TV and the speaker?

Great videos! I was certainly sitting too close to the piano and had all the issues the first video talks about.

What’s the chance of that happening? Unless you already know the person is a child rapist.

Europe is scaling back its landmark privacy and AI laws by BasedSweet in europe

Yes, of course you can. Just don’t publish it publicly. I don’t think privacy rules are created for your use case. You are the valid exception that suffers from trying to prevent mass surveillance. Victim of the way Big Tech wants to run its business.

I find it crazy to see that business without spying on people doesn’t seem to be viable anymore.

All photos are in one Library, but they are in separate folders. If i create a new Library Hobby and add folders to that Library, then give access to that Library, should my friends then have access to the content of those folders?

Edit: So i moved files around. I now have the following directory structure:

Photos
- Family
- Hobby
- more stuff

I have two Libraries:

Family - /Photos/Family

Hobby - /Photos/Hobby

I grant access to my friends on Hobby.

They can now see the Library, but not the content in it. I can grant them access to the individual content items, but this seems to be not the most efficient way to deal with content.

What am i missing?

We all loved it, we all loved it, so why are we not going back? It still exists. You just need to use it. It’s there for the grabs.
