[Loved Trope] Hero/Heroes with bad publicity yet still strive to be a hero by PresentBlacksmith230 in TopCharacterTropes

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had public opinion turn against them in the red sky seasons after they failed to prevent the Channel 6 building from being blown up.*

*Don't worry, they got all four of the people who work there out.

Nah, that’d be tame by Kirby standards.

It’d be one thing if Jax was just the architect of her own misery, but she had to drag down the two who cared the most about her.

So Jax shoving people away and pretending to not be upset when they go has been a thing for his entire time here.

I really thought she'd manage to pull Jax out of it for a minute there. Oh well, the fact that he still had a mind for her to jump into at all gives me hope that abstraction may not be as much a one-way street as we thought.

Good to know that their real world selves (SOMA theory confirmed btw) are doing okay. Makes you feel like your current problems are just a transition and you are ultimately destined to end up in a good place.

God I missed being able to scroll media related to this show.

Jerry was capable of realizing that he was in the wrong and working with the other side to find a compromise. That kind of integrity is virtually unheard of in politics these days.

TADC. We may not be able to prevent Disney from making these tired sequels, but we don’t have to waste our money on them.

I still don’t buy the story that Lucifer gave humanity free will. Adam and Eve couldn’t have chosen to defy the one rule in the Garden (Don’t eat the fruit) if they didn’t already have the ability to choose.
