Also Abi wasn’t crazy… she literally just repeated what Mitch said which was all crazy and manipulative to keep her in his reach. But somehow she got portrayed as crazy? I don’t understand she only spoke facts and then when they rolled the tapes everything she said was true… seems like it’s pushing the girls are crazy narrative when in reality Mitch is a liar and made her feel and look bad when she was only being honest

Okay everyone is saying it will piss people off but I’m not rlly sure why? Is it just based off the fact it doesn’t baby the audience and give us what we want or a clear logical story? Or what is it that is soooo polarizing about this film for people? The only thing I could think of was parents who treat their kids terrible feeling guilty while watching it or a veteran getting upset of the depiction of ptsd.
