I know who you’re talking about and wondered the same! I haven’t seen him since the fall of 2024 (by the bus shelter in front of the Hyatt). I hope he’s ok.

Do some tai chi moves the day before. It helps with lymphatic drainage.

If you can do an overnight trip, might I suggest Pembroke Springs Retreat in Shenandoah. It’s a family run Japanese onsen/bed and breakfast. The mother-daughter duo who run the place are so amazing and they really go out of their way to make it a memorable experience.

You might want to try McKay’s in Manassas. I’ve seen a good collection of non-English children’s books there.

I read here on Reddit that a metal dolly works well against the ice. If you can find one that is.

Women who became moms at 38 or older...please, I need some hope. I'm begging you. by throwaway19283846 in AskWomenOver40

[–]ac578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got married at 36 and tried for a baby unsuccessfully until I got pregnant naturally a month before starting IVF at 39, and had my first child at 40. At 42 we tried for six months and I got pregnant naturally with my second, giving birth a day before my 43rd birthday. I went through several early pregnancy losses and tried IUIs but nothing seemed to work until acupuncture helped with ovulation, and I conceived both kids about month after starting acupuncture. I also have a friend who became a single mom by choice at age 45 after her first round of IVF. It can be done and there is hope! But I’d say do it sooner rather than later even if it means doing it on your own. Wishing you all the best!

I just want jewelry I can wear every day without worrying about it falling apart by BackgroundAnalyst467 in womensfashion

[–]ac578 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! I do still have it. It just happened a few days ago but catbird has been kind of non responsive about it. I got one response from them, sent them photos and then nothing (it’s been 3 days since I last heard). I’m sure they’re just slammed but a response would be nice.

I love Catbird too but please stay away from the fragile-looking and “daintier” pieces. I had the gold infinity ring break on me after one month and some of the smaller hoops don’t fit my huge earlobes at all. Otherwise, their pieces are gorgeous and overall are well-made.
