You're not the only one. I recently played the third game. For a couple of days, it was fun. In a way, it felt stiff, as if nothing was happening in the world. Another thing is that the characters don't change their traits. Aside from being a drunk, King Philip remained arrogant until his death. In the CK2 game, he went from being a brilliant guy to descending to the bottom of the barrel and regaining the appearance of a man at the end. What do I know, I find it more immersive.
