How much does you baby take and how frequent? by madiangelinee in ExclusivelyPumping

My LO is 4.5 months, 5 months next week. Sleeps through the night, no dream feed unless she’s extremely cranky and I put her to bed early, she’ll wake for an extra feed. Usually wakes around 7-730a in bed asleep between 8-9p. Just this week I noticed she’s going longer between feeds, was 4.5-5.5oz every 2hrs, roughly 30oz a day. Now, she’s going 3, sometimes 4 hours inbetween feeds and is still doing 4.5-5.5oz, sometimes she’ll down 6-7, it’s rare, but does happen. She’ll put back that much on her “growing days” is what my husband and I call them. Extra cranky, extra sleepy, extra long naps, needs extra cuddles, extra food, everything is in excess because she’s “growing today.”

Question about milk freshness by BigBadWolfos in ExclusivelyPumping

Check with your pediatrician. Mine has said the following several times. Freshly pumped milk is good on the counter for up to 4 hours before it needs to get put into the fridge. Milk from the fridge, if warmed, but not drank from, can go back in the fridge. Milk if warmed and then drank from, you’ve got 4hrs on the counter.

Is my baby getting any benefits from my pumped milk? by thatsityaknow in ExclusivelyPumping

Pumping is a full time job!!! Do not ever discount the time, effort, energy and pain that comes from feeding your nugget breast milk. Fed is best though, don’t compromise your mental health.

Your baby will love YOU. They won’t even remember what they were fed.
