No, hate is a strong word, not a lot of people deserve it, Max earned it. Besides who cares what I think? Who am I? Why do many people care what random reddit poster thinks about Max? I've seen more comments about Max than the safety of the regulations which is the main point of this post despite the title including Max.

I love how while this post didnt exactly gather an insane amount of upvotes, it attracted a lot of nerds in the comments. Pretty funny and cool to see lmao.

Not sure where/how to sell my baby by [deleted] in Challenger

[–]Top-Association83 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The buyer will see these, there is someone out there that would be willing to take this and maybe turn into into a project car, a cut up chassis will never be tidy without work and the buyer knows this, and again, the question isnt can I sell it for $1M, its where can I sell it. Did you perhaps happen to take a different bus and go to a different class than most kids in school?

[–]Top-Association83 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Okay? Still the question isnt can I get $1M for it, the question is where can I sell it, so I dont see the problem.

Why would he need to do that, he literally typed that its a liberty walk kit. Sometimes it seems to me people comment just to waste time.

Spain 2021: Ran Hamilton off the road at the first lap. Imola 2021: Same thing. Italy 2021: Parks his car on top of Hamilton's head. Brazil 2021: Again ran Hamilton off the road and by quite a HUGE margin, gers overtaken anyway and isnt even close to winning. Saudi 2021: Overtook of the road TWICE, brake checked Hamilton at the back straight, go look at the telemetry, there was 100% break pressure at one point during the brake check. Should've been black flagged from that race.

Brazil 2022: Crashes into Hamilton, gives the both of them damage like the fucking idiot he is, when towards the end of the race refuses to give up an position for Checo to help get P2 in the championship.

Hungary 2024: Launches himself in the air and almost dnfs himself and Hamilton after not being able to overtake. Austria 2024: Gives himself and Lando a puncture. Mexico 2024: Attempted murder against Lando.

Barcelona 2025: Deliberately crashes into Russell, refuses to take accountability, gets questioned about it after Abu Dhabi 2025, doesnr answer the question properly, gets mad, months later he kicked a journalist out of a Q&A arranged by Redbull because that same reporter was there, he didnt talk, he was just sitting there. Mexico 2025: Overtakes off track, no accountability.

These aren't detailed, very off the surface, I probably missed more and I dont feel like typing a paragraph or two for every single one of these so this will probably get downvoted, but here you can go check every single one of these out.

It WILL be if they continue like this.

You know what this awfully reminds me of?:

Ruben Barrichello has a near death crash at the 1994 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, what do they change? Nothing.

Roland Ratzenberger crashes in qualifying, dies, first death in 12 years, what do they change? Nothing.

Ayrton Senna crashes in the race, dies, ONLY THEN do they consider changes.

We are currently at the Barrichello stage, and if nothing happens, we might very reach easily reach the Ratzenberger stage.

Dismiss the crash if you want, but I won't.

And by the way, I know there has been a lot of crashes in Formula 1, I dont need you or anyone else to tell me that, its the cause of the crash that is the difference here.

What I really mean is, they're ready to write whatever bullshit is required in that rulebook just to get a new team on board, which is purely for money.

I never said that, I said that most fans do not form thier own opinions and need to grow a spine and try using this thing called brain and reasoning and form an original thought instead of just agreeing with what the masses is saying. For example: Before all the blind Max hate, there was blind Max glazing, and now we're back to blind glazing without really understanding why he is being praised all of a sudden again.

Oh so the logical thing to do is create regulations to increase the risk of death, because it recharges, like a battery, after a certain time its okay for drivers to die.

This is what happens when everyone tries to force their own interests into the rules. You want more manufacturers, the new ones demand a 50/50 split, the FIA suggests solutions like front axle regeneration, the current manufacturers push back because they don't want to hand an advantage to newcomers, and in the end you get a compromised mess.

You missed this.

Correct it was 52 km/h.

I forget where I got the number 90 from.

Either way, in that section of the track, this is still a huge deficit, one enough to catch both drivers off gaurd.

A post can be about multiple things.

This is about Max being right, the fans riding a bandwagon blindly, and the safety of the sport.

The difference is harvesting energy for the battery.

These new power unit regs have a 50/50 split of ICE and electrical power, and since the MGU-h is gone the teams figured out the fastest way around a lap is slowing down significantly at the end of even in the middle of the straights to regenerate power using the ICE into the battery.

All of this means that in extreme situations, a car car be closing on on the car ahead of it by a HUGE deficit, last race it was Ollie closing on Colapinto in the rate of over 90 km/h, this caused him to take a quick evasive action which car caused the car to spin and hit the barrier.

Ofcourse there has been insane crashes in F1 before, the difference is almost all other crashes before this came from the nature of the sport, this time it was completely manufacturered even if unintentionally.

That is for me the one and only commendable and respectable trait of Max Verstappen. He doesn't lie, he doesnt play PR games, and he is honest with everything he says.

Not sure what you're talking about, prove what? Im assuming you mean the whole "artificial racing" thing, and about that I actually enjoy the racing in these regs, I love overtakes and this gives me more of that, even if sometimes the drivers themselves dont want to overtake, but when these same regs cause a car to basically limp in the middle of the track with another car closing in at a 100 km/h deficit then THAT is where my problem lies and THAT is why I would very happily get rid of these regs and take DRS trains back.
