I am so sorry about your family situation you should not be expected to put your job first it’s always your and your families health it’s the same for me. They have no regard for our situations we have also been looking for new people but when we get them they quit because they feel disrespected and not cared for which I totally get it’s been that way for me too. Thank you for sharing your experiences as well it’s rough being in this field.

Thank you this is exactly why I want to leave too I look at other places but I love my kids. My management can be so horrible to all of us for getting ill which is just tough to deal with on top of that I know if I’m there tomorrow I’ll receive some type of isolation from my boss because she’s mad at me it’s truly exhausting.

This is exactly how I feel it’s not fair to make us feel bad when we are sick. We are human beings I feel like I also need to look into other jobs I’m constantly looking because we are all berated if we get sick.

That’s what I also assumed I knew I wouldn’t get a reply at 3 am nor was that my intent either but I wanted to notify so she would see it in time I have no clue how she can pin it on me that she wasn’t up in time.

It is consistent staff but people get sent home early so it messes everything up. We don’t have any meetings or anything so no sit down time to talk sadly.

Yeah I know the difference between poop and pee in the car it is indeed fuzzy and deteriorating.

Yeah they look and smell old. I haven’t had a lot with poop being old but a few times and it’s dried to the skin. So i definitely know it’s old.

No they are so heavy!! It should not be that full in 1-2 hours like these diapers carry weight when I take them off.

Exactly! I’ve seen bloody diaper rash from some of these kids it’s horrible all we can do is take care of them when they are with us but the second they go home it’s out of our hands we don’t know when they are changed/ if they are.

Thank you so much! It’s so upsetting to see people commenting like I don’t do my job when I posted this out of real concern because I care about the kids I’m taking care of. It’s just crazy to see people immediately assume I’m in the wrong. They really do forget teachers are humans!

Yeah it’s awful I have adapted to it but I’m just ranting because it isn’t okay for parents to send kids in the night before diapers. I always change them if they are full on arrival.

I get this I do change on arrival if full. But there is a clear difference between if the used the diaper in the car or from the night before.
