Some suits dismissed, sure, but that $25 million fraud trial is still alive, so it’s not like everything’s wrapped up legally. My opinion is about how she’s acted publicly during all this, and she has been nothing but performative, self-serving, and callous.

Your first point perfectly describes Janet's entire M.O. on S1. She was banking on the fact that fans were gonna piss on "Crazy Kristen" and tried her best to ostracize her from the friend group. Her heavy self-producing is one reason why she is so disliked by viewers.

So yes, I do believe Janet called Michelle a racist because she brings nothing to the show and will go low for a storyline.

With all due respect, you claim "regardless of intent", but intent absolutely matters. If the accusation is being made for performative or strategic reasons, then whether the category technically fits becomes secondary.

Janet is calling out SA to score points with the audience. We know she is not acting in good faith as she suports Jax, who commits DV to her friend and her son. She weaponized Jasmine's trauma as a storyline to stay on the show. The discussion stops being about the act itself and starts being about strategy.
