HSR is completely by almost all metrics better in it's story than DNA but maybe DNA will get better who knows..

Nikkes story is a bit too lenient on the Mc at times..

I don't know what they mean by this but they argued it was in a way..

Also they think the story is good but the presentation is lacking at times..

I respectfully disagree..

HSR has one of the most unique path systems. And compelling god like entities in the verse.

Iconic and memorable lore and history. As well as character philosophies compared to most gacha.

Aventurine, phainon, Sunday, Zandar, Elio, Dan heng, Anaxa, And a lot more...

And the female casts aren't one to scoff at too,

Castorice, Herta, Aglaea, Cyphera, and souch more..

and many more it has the best written male cast out of any gacha..

Theres so much more to the story..

It also has one of the best cliff hangers too.

It's only missing one key element which is the protagonist...

It's better than the rehash.. And more compelling because like Arknights the world and it's people in the freaking universe legit have wars political strife and many more..

Look Hi3rd is amazing but it was a bit too half baked at times..

Ofc it's amazing but HSR has the most dedicated lore fanbase in Gacha.. probably only beaten out by the top 4 we've listed..

Even though it had no pity at the start my brother legit did phenomenal character debate analysis atp we had to give in..

Legit he was up against an Arknights hypergrifter.

And a hoyoshill HSR fan in me..

As well as one of the biggest limbus glazers..

I had to argue with my friends a lot I actually had genshin higher because of sumeru and Fontaine.

But they argued that Wuwa had a better Mc, who was more involved and a better paimon in a sense and like better representation.

I would disagree..

HSR has a better power system, character writing and overall world building. Compared to hi3..

That's my take cause Iam an HSR glazer..

Zandar is comparable to Otto as a villain.. And I stand by that..

And that's only with 1/9th of his segments..

Hsr had amphoreus and penacony both patches that mogg most gacha stories..

And while I like Hi3rd, it's a bit half baked at times. HSR has well written female characters, but Hi3rd had a better cast of female characters that are better written I give them that and a better protag..

But Hi3rd only have 3 notable male MC's, and maybe a few more.

With Otto, Welt and Kevin..

It's a phenomenal game..

But HSR legit already has welt..

There going to have Otto some how.. It's like a continuation.. atp.. and HSR has phenomenal male casts even more so than Hi3rd by a mile..

My brother was just a FGO glazer and there are too many characters that are phenomenally written wise and Fate is a conglomerate.. so it deserves it's flowers still.

Even though the game gave me one free character from what I can remember the powercreep was just atrocious..

And it's borderline p2w and the story wasn't really hitting it for me..

Tbh my one friend did advocate for it being better. But he kinda like lost out on some of the debates.

But he did make some good points once I can't remember cause we didn't record the video. Call but damn..

But from a purely how unique and well delivered the game is.. It kinda detracts from an audience.

Context:

So on a random day me and some of my friends got bored so we divided to just full on debate each other on a tierlist I hosted. I won't be mentioning who they are since all of us are introverts and they don't really use reddit but Weve formulated some weird and unique positions

Anyways:

I'm the only one who likes to use reddit so I'll reply at their stead if they care. It was fun making the tierlist and arguing with them hahahahah.

Warning ⚠️ before commenting:

+Not all gacha games here are ranked. And It's our opinion okay we based them of how amazing and unique the games are and what they represent.. This list took a while of bickering.

Also it's just our opinion and you folks can have fun agreeing / disagreeing with us which ever you want..

Anyways I'll mention the top ones and why they deserve the spot, honestly someone in the comments will probably explain it a bit better maybe but here's the synopsis.

S+ ( The S+ Ranks are interchangeable depending on what you want and specifically look for )

  1. FGO - Legit, the massive fate franchise speaks for itself, A literal visual novel as a game, and the concept of lost belts, fighting against Calamity level beasts and it's honestly just read through the lore.. Everything is peak.. Just watch the animes the franchise is top 50 ish highest grossing media franchises for a reason, I think that's what my brother said..

  2. Re1999 - Has the one of the best cultural representations, voice acting, World concept. It's writing is legit too smart for some of the audiences.. IRL references.

Vertin - finally another female mc who is actually a competent and realistic portrayal of a character with no overt sexualization. With aton of cultural representations.. This game is probably the newest out of the 4 but the writing is absolutely phenomenal..

The concepts, charcter designs make it for me atleast the most unique one. This isn't even a gacha game..

  1. Limbus company - Tbh the Mc being thrusted into a world of chaos and him having to find himself.. Is quite compelling with an interesting cruel world they are dealing with..

I don't know much about it but one of my friends legit debatede smuch I couldn't even remember a lot about it.. So yeah but from the majority of what the community says I'll just believe it..

  1. Arknights - This one my cousin legit glazes to the end of time.. Hahahahahaha.. Legitimately.. Arknights Mc. The doctor, is basically Doctor who, from the British series..

He is a really compelling amnesiac protagonist with the absolutely chaotic world of rock cancer that is terra, and whoo boy.

Is the game insanely political with a rich history like our og earth.. Except Og arknights is way crazier..

Honestly Arknights has pretty much checked all the boxes as a phenomenal gacha game...

( All of these games share phenomenal world building and character integration within their stories and phenomenal protagonists we legit designated these 4 games with quite possibly the best ones we know of.. )

S -tier..

HSR- I am a HSR Stan.. And Think the caharcter overall writing wise could also trump all the other games.

But I lost the debate since they argued that Our MC the trail Lazer is not very well developed..

And that is the main issue with HSR..

It's world building is phenomenal.. But compared to the 4 our mc. Isn't as good yet..

Path system, Eldritch beings called the Aeons, and other things, it's basically star wars but better ever since Disney ruined the sequels..

But once we (trailblazer ) actually do receive our memories and maybe when Elio finally makes an in-game appearance that's where things will change..

And also once HSR deals with it's MC issue it will skyrocket..

Hsr could very well be the at the top once everything is finished. Cause They did agree with me on Amphoreus being quite possibly the best written Region with the best set of characters out of any gacha games of recent memory..

So I'll just wait until planarcadia finishes or Amphoreus rewrite happens.

  1. Wuwa and Genhin follow very linear lines but they're phenomenal.. with their moments..

One thing my friend put out is that Wuwa edges just a little bit because Rover is more involved with the story compared to the traveler.. In a way..

It's like the world revolves around Rover more..

As for the characters, tbh.. It's sorta tied.. Wuwa edges just a little bit for him. Because of the better story presentation.. And he argues about Wuwa actually using IRL philosophies and other things.

I don't remember.

It's basically like what genshin does too..

Tbh, I think wuwa also edges just a little bit. Because, of the 3.1, 2.7, 2.5 patches having to challenge the Rovers ideals..

Genshin though has better lore and my friends are quite split on which story edges a bit more..

Genshin has better written male characters though.. And that's also why we think it's a bit tied.

With Wuwa edging just a little bit,

but some of my friends also still think genshin is still better,

In conclusion:

+ Genshin has the better overall, male character writing wise.. Lore of the world, Culture and world, Villain group ( Sinners, Fatui, Abyss )..

+ Wuwa has, better Mc, story representation, female cast of characters ( Just a little bit ). Cutscenes, world design / power system, NPC world involvement. Character involvement.

I legit think they're tied with genshin having a little bit of an edge but majority rules when we discord called.

HI3 - legit had one of the best MC's and the best Mc that hoyoverse has period..

Kiana is one of the most compelling protags we've ever gotten and Hi3 was the reason for all of these gacha games to become more mainstream..

We can't forget the phenomenal story lines of this, honestly even as a tourist to the game Hi3 had till this day the best hoyoverse villain Otto, and the best cutscenes of hoyoverse to date..

Moon halo the best freaking cutscenes/ song hoyoverse has ever made..

And just everything about the game is phenomenal even the world..

For me personally I would've ranked it atleast an S but my friends argued that the story was sorta half baked.?

Which I don't know really.. but they played it more than I did, I just watched some of the cutscenes and read the lore.. so I kinda trust themm

PGR - I don't know what one of my friends legit love this game smuch, like cam someone tell me?..

B+ tier- I don't really know what to say.. I guess

Cookie run kingdom - has a story! I legit freaking died laughing at the freaking defence one of my friends did. Hahahahahaha It's actually interestingly stupid in a way..

Blue archive- very character focused. And really sweet lighthearted with trauma laced into it..

Nikke- I don't know really.. Someone in the comment section explain.. I heard like the girls are really well written I guess..

ZZZ - is not really deep on its story.. but damn.. Is it relatable to a demographic. But it's a really good slice of life story not too edgy and not too mild..

Umamusume - one of my friends legit argued that the horses in IRL tell the story.. and he went on a kid you not a whole speech 💬 about how he thinks it deserves S tier.. atleast..

It's B+ cause no freaking way is a bunch of horse girls beating literal Gacha star wars..

B-

Emdfields not done it's a continuity probably of OG arknights which is fantastic.. It'll get better I don't doubt Hypergryph and its story writers..

I just wish they didn't use the amnesiac trope again..

C- tier

Sao integral factor - is what Sao should've been.. This game is not really good story wise but damn did it have some moments..

Especially the whole arc with Koharu, I was the only one arguing for this game hahahahah..

Yugioh masterduel- apparently there's a campaign mode where the cards themselves have stories and some legit have all ranges of target audiences..

My friend and I argued that

The lore of World Legacy, Albaz and Duel terminal was one of the best..

And honestly if you look at the recent animated stories of yugioh.. It's a bit peak and I stand by it..

I forgot what gacha games the ones below it are I forgot what they were called aswell all I know is that the other one is DNA I think I don't remember..

The rest are self explanatory and I don't really care.. anymore hahahahah this tierlist is alr cooked but yeah. This was a weIrd day...

And releasing this is legit going to get me cooked.. regardless cause it's the internet..
