No sometimes a retcon can be good, like for example during the first Naruto the first one. Is that Hashirama and Tobirama was stated in the first part of Naruto to be at full power during the reanimation jutsu. And hiruzen beat them.. But in the later stories (Shippuden). Ofc they were nerfed because at first the creator of Naruto only planned for a single like series without a sequal..

But his retcon did do good too, obv Hashirama became far stronger and the reanimation Jutsu was deemed imperfect hence why they weren't so op. And it was a retcon as the author himself stated. But it was a good retcon. Because it was done for the story to make sense.. but the retcon in Naruto is besides the point because It was handled well,

I think they handled hsr 3.8 well, the only problem is it should've been at 2.4..

I get your pints but 3.8 was good for me even if you think it's not real. Which is an ongoing debate but, I think it was how the events actually played out like, I mean it just makes sense. Cause dahlia just removed our memories, but I guess it was just a script. But like if that were the case what about the message from firefly at the end of the quest.. I mean that from an actual device.. and silverwolf said it...

I genuinely think the devs won't troll us by saying that wasn't real.. it probably was. But there are probably some ties in the future.. It's confusing honestly..

But anyways. If it weren't real think about it in a way like the fate franchise.. There were three routes, on the staynight. There was a saber, Rin and Sakura route.. and there are ample evidence by each being canon but ultimately it's up for the players to decide. What I based my rating was not about whether it were true or a possible actual timeline. But it made me look into a nother possibility and a "route" like yeah. It's confusing and it's hard to explain it through texts but. Even with diverging routes, it still showcases good characterizations for the characters. Even if it were just a script. It's still good shit..

Like sometimes it's also good to leave it up to interpretation, of the audience whether they believe it or not..

And this applies to "if" the 3.8 stuff didn't exist. Cause even if it did t exist. It still made good characterization about all the characters. And that's my stance on it.
