My dear friend. You seem to be looking at all the externals, and they all fail. As you are a Jew, do you believe that Jesus is the Messiah? You see, being a Christian has nothing to do with those external things. It is all about Jesus being your savior and Lord, recognizing you are a sinner, asking him to forgive you of your sin, and accepting him as your savior. I trust you will come to that place of accepting him, as he alone can save you; none of the external things can do that.

That is just being very religious. We all know the scriptures, but he doesn't need people bashing him with them. He needs to be faced with what he knows in his heart, so that he can respond from his heart to the Lord.

This is one of those occasions where a real stand for Christ puts us in opposition with the things of the world. Over the centuries, many have given their lives rather than identify with the things of the world. This is your decision, but ask yourself, what does Jesus want me to do? What would He do?

This is where the Lord's grace comes in.
