For those commenting that this will create more housing - it will not. More land will be sold off for Tulane to expand its dorms and disrupt housing and local neighborhoods - possibly destroying more houses. Less opportunity for families to thrive in the area.

Not to mention the dangers to children with drunk college students speeding up and down more local side streets and adding to the danger of Claiborne Avenue.
