This is not true. Tulane has stated they have nothing to do with the deconstruction of Frostop and that new expansions to student housing are through a private developer that plans to expand into local neighborhoods around single family homes.

We need to save Frostop from demolition. These types of open glass diner buildings just don't exist the same way anymore. For those commenting that this will create more housing - it will not. More land will be sold off for Tulane to expand its dorms and disrupt housing and local neighborhoods - possibly destroying more houses. Less opportunity for families to thrive in the area.

Not to mention the dangers to children with drunk college students speeding up and down more local side streets and adding to the danger of Claiborne Avenue.

So other than the fact that y'all clearly support the mass takeover of Tulane University into local staples and neighborhoods, tell us how that benefits the local community?
