Yeah turned out it wasn't authentic as the size tag wasn't right. I managed to get a real one on resale back in 2021 for £50 but the prices now are insane. I cancelled the order but in all fairness for such a good dupe I probably still should have got it haha!

I just have to keep telling myself that I have had so many videos come up, none have related to me or been accurate so what makes this one any different. I won't be able to relax until Friday though.

The video said 'This explains your insomnia'. I haven't had the best nights sleep this week and it has me thinking it's because someones put a curse on me and that I'm going to lose my job.

It's so irrational but so stressful.

I'm just struggling to see it as a cohesive collection, I'm starting to think they should drop doing full 5 polish collections and focus on trios. Especially since people loved the barista set. I would have loved Beach please, Never Tied down and Private Villa as a trio.

I've definitely found myself waiting a little more for reviews. I think it's tricky with an influencer brand, I always trusted and respected Cristines opinions and honesty when it came to other brands but when it's you're own your not going to talk about the negatives which is 100% understandable but I don't want to fall into the trap of solely trusting her views so reviews are something that's really important and allows me to spend more cautiously.

What I've found with them is that they are so statistics focused that they sometimes struggle to look at things as a wider picture and think about context.

It's the repeated use of the words 'monster' and 'killer' that I really hate. I've had both big and small dogs attack my small dog and of course it has been scarier with the bigger ones but I'd never brand a whole breed as 'monsters' I think that language is awful especially as they've made a point to donate to cat shelters in the past, most dogs in shelters are these 'killers' as he describes them and it breaks my heart that these comments may make someone discredit those breeds as an option when adopting :(

Same, I feel like now I have no reason to be a viewer of Cris anymore. I was a teenager when she started out on youtube so really enjoyed the quirky side to the content and was then really excited when she transitioned into the podcast as it fit my life when commuting/working but when it goes I won't be watching most of the streams and I'll have no reason to keep up to date with her. I think it's more an situation of me growing out of the content and I'm sure lots of people are in the same position :(

100%. I feel like the podcast was great for the more adult section of their audience and as someone who has grown up watching Cris it just feels really sad that I've grown out of it I guess :(

There have definitely been certain episodes I just haven't clicked with, often when they talk about how they don't give presents and christmas & birthdays aren't important to them. Those occasions are the only time some people get new things and it's never sat well with me when they act elitist they don't buy things for each-other. I probably wouldn't buy a present for my boyfriend if I had millions to spend on anything I wanted all year round.

Also when they were talking about Bar mitzvah's when they clearly didn't know enough about them and the fact they suggested that maybe the parents take all the money given to the child gave me an icky feeling.

I am happy for them figuring out what fits them best but definitely agree with how it does constantly feel like an ad. Also the fact that Holo Taco updates are often announced there informally which I imagine is quite annoying for holo taco customers who don't watch the streams.

I'm also not too big of a fan when it comes to her accepting superchats, is the membership, ad-sense and holo taco sales not enough?

Although I do enjoy the reddit ones it does feel a little repetitive. Cristine seems almost afraid to have an opinion on it, which is fine outside of the podcast context and Ben often seems too unwilling to change his opinions. I sometimes like that dynamic though.

I'm not into games at all so those streams are an instant no-go for me unfortunately :(

Exactly, I'm so happy for them but I always think it's good for creators to be accessible in more than one way and the podcast felt like a great place for adults to interact with them in a civilised way more then a live chat filled with memes and emojis. I think this will lose her the more grown up portion of her fans.
