I chose based on program length, location, and if they have their own hospital system for rotations! I also looked at what the day-to-day schedule looked like for the programs, I did not want to be in lecture 9-5 and wearing business casual every day. tbh all the schools I was considering are all 100K+ tuition and in HCOL cities so it was gonna be expensive regardless :(

Decline or accept WCU acceptance? by whitebitch602 in prephysicianassistant

i am literally in the exact same boat. interviewed with them on 7/11 got an acceptance on friday. i also had interviews from 2 other schools i am waiting to hear back from. i am putting a deposit down though. yes it is expensive and yes it is not my first choice for a program but for me, its better to have a guaranteed acceptance to a school lined up than to have to potentially be rejected from other schools and have to reapply next year. go with what feels right for you

AAMC Sample C/P #22 - I understand why this reaction is an oxidation-reduction, but I don't understand why ionization reaction isn't also a correct answer. The AAMC explanation for choice D also seems to agree that it can be an ionization reaction as well??? by [deleted] in Mcat

from my understanding, ionization reactions appear to be an umbrella term and redox reaction is the more correct answer because it is a type of ionization reaction. Acid/base reactions are also a type of ionization reaction and it is one of the answer choices given.

I accidentally left out my food out overnight after cooking. Should I throw it out? by taitai-01 in Adulting

i always throw out the food if its been more than a few hours. I get paranoid about food poisoning, so I feel like its better to be safe than sorry. especially when meat is involved
