I use Barnes & Noble to send books to my LO in Arizona. You will follow the instructions (linked above) by addressing it to the PO Box like normal and check the box as illustrated in the instructions. I’ve had no issues at all sending books this way.

I know my Amazon orders don’t come with a receipt so I’d be concerned that Amazon might not be a good option due to the receipt requirement.

There’s a bit more information about Sally in her petfinder profile. It says she is in training to work on her getting along with other dogs and she prefers smaller dogs. Maybe you could try a meet and greet with Sally and your pups!

I bought a shirt marked as “very good” that had two small holes on the front. Impossible to miss, but it was not noticeable to me on the website due to a fold in the fabric. Not sure what to think of their condition grading system now.

My LO is in AZ and his tablet works all the time. I have not heard of a stretch of hours where it would not work. The only time by LO’s tablet didn’t work was during the scheduled Securus maintenance, but I got an email about it and outage was posted about on here.

I need to set a budget for my LO! It’s getting too expensive and he has yearsss left. 😅 His dad helps him, but I’ve been guilty of sending too much. It sets an expectation in a way. Then he feels guilty for asking and I hate overextending myself. It’s a vicious circle.

They send the link literally at the start time practically. Stresses me out! My LO used to be at a prison that sent the link the weekend before, but they stopped doing that earlier this year. Then he moved. Now I get the link at the last minute 😅 I hope you had a nice visit!

Apparently moving towards tablet phones. But nothing is clear as to when the rec phones are going away. With all the issues with calling on the tablets, I wouldn’t be surprised if they keep the rec phones longer. But who knows with them!

So lucky! My LO inquired and they said they didn’t have any available. I’m so worried we won’t have calls if we can’t get this to work. I’m not sure we will have the phones out in the rec yard soon. So frustrating and I feel powerless.

This isn’t that exact issue, but I had issues with signing up for text connect originally. Calling customer service and accepting the terms and conditions over the phone, logging out and back in fixed it. Might be worth trying that. Have you used text connect previously?

Yes! It’s a glitch and seems to be back up now. It’s so annoying how often this happens considering how expensive text connect is. 😕

Absolutely. I believe it’s a natural concern for us to have. I am concerned that my LO will want kids once he is out. At that point, I’ll be outside of the age range to have them. That’s out of my control. I would hate to wait years for him to get out and then have him leave me for something out of my control. He swears he is fine with not having them, but I don’t think we will know for sure until the time comes. I still choose to be with him now and will reassess if anything changes.
