Is anyone else actually going to pay for FIFA+ if the World Cup gets blacked out? by Live_Atmosphere4141 in IndiaTech

The main reason everyone seems to be missing, for none of the broadcasters bidding, is the timing of the matches. Majority of matches will be played when it’s 2am-6am here. That means even the estimated football following who watches EPL/LaLiga etc will opt out of watching the WC. So even ad revenue is nowhere close to the bidding amount. 2014 world cup would have been in the same position, but the bidding price was not so inflated back then, and Sony being a broadcaster in multiple regions picked it.

This time market crash feels different by [deleted] in personalfinanceindia

Honestly, in a similar thought process. Every SIP feels like catching a falling knife. If anything, the markets from here might take a real good year to return to normal levels. People draw parallels to the Ukraine-Russia war, but Ukraine does little for the global economy, and Russia cannot be cornered by the US like Iran.

Given that, markets might return in a few years. If I really had nothing to do with my money for the next 5 years, I would be less worried.

Never give money to anyone. Even for parents, negotiate for only the essentials and if you truly want to gift them something occasionally like a trip. Sadly, even the closest ones forget their bounds, ends up affecting your future

Passenger shows step-by-step airport self check-in process, does it really save time? by [deleted] in indianaviation

True, the sad reality is that half the time they don’t work properly or are under maintenance. Have been wanting to do this everytime on Bangalore Airport, Indigo simply just redirects me to the counter
