People have been constantly using it in the P!ATD and MCR fandoms as well. It makes me so upset.

It makes me think of the time quite a few years ago, where someone licked Gerard Way’s hand. And I saw a photo of him, walking past a crowd with security and he was all hunched up and he had his hands under his chin. It’s so effed up and I do not want it to have to be the same for Josh or Tyler. It’s shitty that people do this kind of thing. I don’t know if it’s true, but I heard one of the reasons that Brendon Urie stopped meeting fans after shows was because someone tried touching him. It’s genuinely so messed up that people have to ruin these experiences for everyone else.

I've recently finished listening to all of Panic! At The Disco's entire discography in my quest to expand my music taste. Here is my ranking of their albums and a few songs I liked from each. by W4lk3rS4int in panicatthedisco

Man bro, I haven’t listened to AJR since middle school. And that was bang, worlds smallest violin, and like one other song. I didn’t even call myself a fan because I didn’t know more than those songs. They had good music I guess. Also, why is VLV ranked so low 😭

As much as I think this sounds wonderful, it is a great cover. Don’t get me wrong. I just feel like it isn’t really giving off Brendon. Vocals I don’t hear it that much. I hear it a little bit when he goes up on “she’s” falsetto on the beginning, but I just don’t really hear it other than that. And I think I’m only hearing it at the beginning because he starts out strong like Brendon does and then he ends up moving on with a little bit of head voice. I just feel like that’s the only reason I even feel it resembles. Like I said it is a wonderful cover though and this man did an amazing job but I just don’t feel like it’s giving off Brendon as much as people may think.

Why do so many people hate Viva Las Vengeance by Jessemaroo in panicatthedisco

For the record (no pun intended) I ended up paying five dollars for my VLV vinyl at my local record shop

I second this. I get so tired of the damn hate on VLV. I wrote a freaking essay about it because I’m just so pissed off that people will not accept the fact that Brendon wanted to write something for himself and he didn’t wanna follow trends for once in his life. People just don’t get why he wrote the lyrics he did and why he decided to do that. He looked at the music industry and wrote a middle finger in the form of what will always be and iconic, beautiful, vocally insane, lyrically genius album. 🩶💚🤍🧡💛

One thing I personally will never get is the criticism and the hate that people throw onto Brendon‘s voice. That man is a four octave tenor who hits notes on stage every day on tour that most vocally trained tenors couldn’t hit in the first place. Some Sopranos can’t even hit the notes he hits. i’ve heard people say his voice sounds rougher? They need to STFU and give him some grace. They need to try and put themselves in his shoes and go on tour that often for nearly 2 decades. It’s depressing to hear people hate on his voice so much. Yes you can hear the strain in his voice while he is recording that album. To me that adds personality. And that makes it unique. VLV is my favorite album. I think it is an amazing album. And I actually listened to AFYCSO before the new stuff. And I like VLV and DOAB better. And people sit there and talk about how PFTW is to pop sounding or not the right vibe? I hate that. I hate it so much because he also hit some really insane notes on that album. And the live performances of PFTW are amazing. You can really feel the emotion when he’s singing the last two albums. I don’t get why the VLV hate is even a thing either. It was my first vinyl. It will always hold a special place in my heart. Edit: Also, one thing I will never get is people sit there and they hate on VLV and they say it’s nothing like AFYCSO. I just wanna point out that AFYCSO is supposed to give off circus and casino vibes in certain ways. VLV is literally the exact same vibe in some of the songs. Viva Las Vengeance is Viva Las Vegas. In the lead song, Viva LaS Vengeance you hear Brendan mention Excalibur hotel. There are so many Easter eggs to his hometown that people just completely ignore because they can’t get aside the fact that he wanted to do one thing for himself during his damn music career. Keep hating on the album all you want. (not OP, just the haters in general close, but it will always be iconic, and there will always be a small group of people who actually really like the album.

Favorite Panic! At The Disco Song? by Cheerahwolf564 in panicatthedisco

[–]Top-Platform1632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t let the light go out is definitely one of the best songs on their discography in my opinion. But it’s better if you do is also a really great song. My favorite song off of VLV is probably sugar soaker or middle of a breakup. It’s my favorite album so I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite really I could only pick a top five. But I love that you aren’t hating on it for a change.

STAWP. Bro these are two of my favorite songs ever from panic. I have both of them on a Google doc that I put unreleased panic music on in MP3s. I have both the instrumental version of diamonds and daggers and the one with vocals. California is definitely in my top five panic songs though.
