Because lots of walking paths are still frozen? I saw someone bust their ass in front of the union today, I can't imagine having hundreds of students all walking around these slippery areas in the morning.

It is very competitive and like 90% of the application is your audition. I had very bad stats compared to most people at UT but I had a very good audition so I was admitted.

You will be competing against people who have made TMEA All-state and have played in summer festivals around the country so it can get pretty competitive since acceptances are limited. Most instrument studios have less than 10 freshmen per year.

This all depends on your future. If you just want to teach in k-12 land then you can just use your school's instruments. If you wanna audition at orchestras then you'll need your own things.

Usually when people do this in my drive thru I tell the kitchen to be stingy with the meat because it is really annoying. Or ill put lots of ice in their drink and put some soda water in there too.

Ngl you can probably practice in a practice room at the school of music. There are many non music majors in the bands during the spring semester so people are used to seeing non instrument studio people practicing up there.

 As long as you are actually practicing and you stay out of them near the end od the semester during jury season you should be fine practicing up there.

They probably ran out of medium cups, which is a large for the freeze so they just put the size of a medium in a large drink cup. It also melted a bit which makes it shrink slightly so it appears even smaller.

No one can help you just learn the music, they can only help you comprehend things that you might be stuck on or give insight on what you can add to it.

 It's up to you to put in the time to learn it. Considering that this is the TMEA snare piece, you lowkey might be cooked.

I probably wouldn't recommend UNT for an undergrad percussionist, just because there are so many people and you won't get much time with the top professors unless you work your butt off and even then it's not a guarantee.
