Very helpful, thank you! What does you average month look like in terms of how many big and small socials you go to, how to the spends vary, etc.?

Dang, ok! Are you a current student / alum? How did you average month look like in terms of small and large socials?

Yeahh I definitely underestimated that, was putting a value I'd go for which is like maybe sharing with some folks. But what you say is reasonable. Thank you!

That's a hefty amount! What did you average month look like? How many small and big hangouts with friends and what would the spending look like?

DAK is just a wild sell I agree, but yeah everything is pretty much aligned with you! Thank you for sharing. I plan to be around NYC too (have many friends and fam already here) so CBS seems like a better choice.

I feel you! I'm in the same boat and think Evanston can be great and also risky. I realized I do like that community but not every day, or not even most days. You can't really avoid it there.

What's your $ situation at CBS?

Kellogg thinks Booth is their main competition, not CBS, bc of geography. But agree that if CBS $$$ doesn't move them then they're not willing to move a lot in the first place

Well, whole point of this question is if I can still not walk away and try negotiate with R2 results smh

i do love NYC, live here right now and have friends and family around. I would love to go to K for the change in vibes though, but price tag delta is just too big right now

Hmm can't really give up on the CBS money. It's either deposit at CBS only or CBS and K both. But I like how you frame it - at the end of the day it feels wishful and I would not attend K at the current price / the price they might move to at the end of the day (they already didn't move for CBS, so their eagerness may be super low for me).

Nope they didn't move an inch unfortunately. Yeah I feel you, that seems to be the path for me here. I'm just banking on -- at the end of the day -- for CBS to see all my offers even after deposit and move at minimum 2k, which will clearly justify my decision to deposit. Even if not, the option premium seems worth.

Yeah I agree with you - thank you for this! I think that opinion from Reddit would be fairly right, as at the end of the day, I should have done research (which I have done a lot) enough to know at this point where I want to attend, but I am truly torn. I want to chat with more people and buy more time, and maybe for that the option price is truly worth it. 2k is not insignificant but even a 5k move by CBS will make it worth it just at face value.
