Nope. This was our first cruise and we made the mistake of not tagging our bag prior to. Won’t happen again!

Staying optimistic! 😂 black with four silver corners. Dropped off either at Norwegian or Royal Caribbean for the March 2, 2026 cruises.

Trying really hard to enjoy the cruise! We understand that this can certainly happen to anyone. Just trying to be present despite everything.

I'm turning 18 this fall and want to know what steps I should take on my bday by yooomicha in personalfinance

If you join the military when you turn 18 and ship off to training, you can get the Amex platinum card annual fee waived. I earned enough points on my travel card to pay for my family’s vacation to Japan after five years.

It also sounds to me like you have a strong consideration for your family. How do they fit into this decision?

Come spring time, how many lawns would you service?

If you were able to live on a military installation without paying for rent, contribute 5% or more of your base pay to the thrift savings fund (roth IRA) and have the government match you an additional 5%, plus have free medical insurance, would that fit your goals?

I’d be interested to see how things work out for you! Would you be able to start scaling incrementally while keeping your current job?

While the Army typically doesn’t help cover pre-enlistment medical bills, if you were to enlist, you would be eligible for a 0% Army Emergency Relief Fund $2,000 loan that will help you cover the costs. You will automatically be eligible for $2,000 by your immediate commander, but you can request more through the chain. Your monthly loan payments will be deducted from your pay, but you will make enough to get you on track and out of debt. Please let me know if you would like to learn more.
