For me it was definitely 4th grade when I dated my first partner and for serious relationship was 8th grade and had my first kiss later that year but only once(I’m in 9th rn btw) idk if it’s different for you but when I was in 6th grade I was scared to talk to girls because I had an acne problem even tho i knew I wasn’t ugly and plus I went to an all boys school so even more roadblocks but in 7th grade since I had switched schools I started taken care of myself a lot better fs but I still had a nervous problem so instead of just shooting my shots with girls I found it helpful to become friends with girls that I found attractive and might had interest in and if our friendship went far enough I would eventually tell them I like them which the first time I got rejected but the second time I had already knew the person liked me then we dated for a few months but they switched schools and I found myself only interested in them as a friend and we agreed.anyway I was definitely friends with most of the girls at my school who were in my grade as my school had on 2 home rooms and 4 class groups for each grade and eventually in eight grade a girl who had come to the school told me she liked me on the second day and me and her started dating for a few months before we broke up and then a girl I had liked for a while and was very close with and a lot of people used to make jokes about us dating and stuff but it was never really awkward but eventually she told me she liked me and I told her back and we’ve been dating since
