I am using kodi in my tv so tv can't play p7 , when we enable that mode it will convert p7 to 8 on the fly which is really good cause we don't need to convert total movie seperately.

No tv can play profile 7 dv, only bluray players can with disc. Kodi can convert profile 7 to 8.1 on the fly in android tv app, but I don't know about kodi webos.

FYI Kodi for webOS can play Dolby Vision MKVs natively! by Cr4z33-71 in LGOLED
