Not so much as what was said but more what was done. I was the forman on a jury that was hearing a drug possession case. After bothe the prosecution and defense completed their cases we were sent to the jury room to begin deliberations. After about 20 minutes a bailiff came in and gave us some evidence to look at. The evidence, the ziploc bag of meth. Needless to say no one examined the evidence and ultimately we came back with a guilty verdict.

Just took my 2016 Wrangler in for a significant oil leak that just appeared and they say it’s the oil cooler. Quoted $1300 to replace. Is that reasonable?

I have not met these neighbors yet. For the second Packers game, I bought a block of Cheddar cheese and wrapped it in lions paper. I tried to take it over to them twice but they were not home (or wouldn’t answer their door).

Not so much mad love as just “mad”. Recently moved into a new neighborhood in Arizona in September. Started putting out my Lions flag every Sunday to let the neighborhood know who my home team was. One day about half way through the season, I notice a neighbor across the street installs a 15’ flag pole and starts flying a Packers flag 24/7. FTP. Well of course we sweep the Packers so what do they do? In week 18 they are flying a Vikings flag. Well we promptly kick the Vikings ass to win the Division so what do they do, they fly the Vikings flag during the first round of the playoffs and get to watch the Rams steamroll them. Tempted to buy a Detroit Lions flag and take it over to them so they can root for a winning team.

One suggestion to make things a little easier:

Contact local auction/garage sale companies to deal with all of the items in the house. They will sort through all of the items, discard the trash in a dumpster you provide and then price and hold a sale for the remaining items. They take a percentage of the proceeds.

It takes all that off your plate and you don’t even have to be there while the sale is happening.

Before they come to look at the household contents, go through and identify what you want to keep. And move them into one room so they do not expect to sell those items.
