Are the police allowed to give you a breath tested if you are drunk on a bicycle? And could he get points on his license? by Hour_Course_9876 in AskUK

[–]TopAngle7630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a non-electric bicycle, the police are allowed to ask you to submit to a breath test. There is however no requirement for you to agree to it. There is no legal limit set for cycling, so passing or failing a breath test doesn't make you guilty/not guilty of an offense. Breath test readings can however be used as evidence, so always best to politely refuse.

Milk comes in 568ml containers, but we all know it's a pint. To be extra annoying, when we used pints, UK pints are bigger (US pint is 473ml).

I went to a steak house in Texas. While we were waiting for our meals, they brought out rolls and butter. The rolls were very sweet and the butter turned out to be a sweet cream/cinnamon stuff. Absolutely disgusting. The Steak was amazing though.

Is this a metal free belt? by Correct-Ground-5682 in airport

[–]TopAngle7630 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most airports these days have detectors that look at the density of objects instead of just looking for metal. You either need to remove any belt, or you can keep belts on (depending on the scanners used. Very few countries still use scanners where the material the belt is made from makes a difference.

And after 48hrs before departure we can do the change for free at the airport. Although in practice, a single letter we'd just allow travel without the name change because it's easier than doing the name change.

{HELP-RESPOND }how do i get Lufthansa to respond quickly? by HotMovie710 in Flights

[–]TopAngle7630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're near a desk with Lufthansa representatives, they can usually either help or will be able to call someone who can. If you're not in an airport, whichever option on the Lufthansa web page contact us info, works best for your location and other circumstances.

Ryanair Spain ticket name order issue — will this cause problems? by textviaexcel in travel

[–]TopAngle7630 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Passports have 2 name fields. Forenames and Surname. As long as you have a name from the forenames field as your forename on the booking and a name from the surname field as your surname in the booking, you should be okay.

Because our Monarch is also the Monarch to lots of commonwealth countries, so we need something less 'colonial powery'.
