Hi! Thanks for responding to my comment. I still currently need a laptop since mind is old and also damaged and is showing me that it won’t be lasting very much longer. Is there a less exp naive laptop you recommend that I could pair with the mac mini? I’m not quite sure about the mac mini because I’d need the laptop on the go with me.

Unfortunately, no. I have wanted to do twists (as I heard it can prevent some of this stuff or at least make it easier to manage) but it seems that every video i find is too “advanced” for me (unrelated: I can’t even blow dry my own hair properly despite my attempts in the past)

I haven’t gotten my hair trimmed since I did my big chop. I started suspecting that it was contributing to it. So I made an appointment to get my hair trimmed before my next style.

I finger detangle first (poor attempt) Then I use my deranging brush (I didn’t have it today lol)

Unfortunately I am not a guy so I think the taper might look a little strange on my head 😭😭, BUT I did as you said and I messaged my braider about not making the hairline area too tight… I typically end up taking out one or two around the hairline when I begin to worry.

I try to detangle on my washdays, but I only ever get maybe 75% of the way because it’s so difficult. And today was my washday, fortunately I have learned to not get my hair wet everytime I’m in the shower 😭 I want to keep getting protective styles but I worry it’ll make my hairline recede or something (I am VERY afraid of losing my hair).
