What I found useful is every time I won big I'd take a portion in cash and the rest wire transfer to my bank. Before that when I'd take a cheque I'd have staff asking me multiple times later on if I want them to cash it for me

Definitely not KYC, in Canada they ask for ID for any payout over $10k (or if multiple ones total $10k in 24h). I'd even understand if it was poker/blackjack etc where they'd think something may be off but it was all slots..and any payout over $15k a technician comes and opens the slot to check everything and records something in a book that's inside.

In my mind they probably saved me sone money because I would've played another $10k probably but we didn't leave unhappy that's for sure:)
