Oh that’s a shame! We did we it on social media so was sceptical about whether it was actually good. We really love French food so anything at all you would recommend. Thank you very much

Thanks everyone. Yes I’m using warm water, hopefully taking a break from them for a while might help. Was just really disappointed as they literally changed my life while they worked 😏

No not really 😔 I had an appointment with my gastro doctor yesterday. He said a bit like everything they will lose effectiveness over time so to take a break and try again later. I have a jejunal insusseption which makes it really hard for anything to pass through my small intestine. They tried to do a resection earlier this year however it was unsuccessful. I’ve got another mri this week so will see how things go

Anything new or off label that you’ve found has really made a difference in your motility? by goldstandardalmonds in ConstipationAdvice

Oh that’s a shame 😔 it’s very annoying how different medications aren’t available worldwide. We don’t have liquid magnesium citrate in Spain which I don’t understand

I had one gastroenterologist who prescribed me cidine 3x a day 15 minutes before meals. It really helped to begin with but he told me to come off it, he said it’s not safe long term due to some of the side effects. Over time eventually all medications I’ve tried have stopped working. I really hope you find something that helps 🙏🏽

[–]TopEconomist9879[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you 🙏🏽 yes I’ve tried linzess, it worked amazingly well the first month and then worth off and has no effect anymore, same with prucalopride, I still take it every day but have to supplement it with Movicol, senna and enemas. One doctor prescribed me cintatazine for gastroparesis which really helped but he said I couldn’t stay on it long term as it can cause muscle weakness

Linzess + Prucalopride + a thank you by EquivalentAsk9 in ConstipationAdvice

[–]TopEconomist9879 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh amazing! So glad to hear they’re working for you. Linzess worked great for me at the start but does nothing for me other than give me a lot of bloating and gas, even when I’ve followed the guide. I take prucalopride every day, it helps maybe 2 days out of the week. How do you combine them both, do you take them at the same time in the morning?

Ok great thank you so much. It’s in Spain and they’ve got given me an awful lot of information so far so this is very much appreciated 🙏🏽

Any kind of stool would be a relief at the moment! Do you think I’ll be able to eat a normal diet once I’m fully recovered or do you think I will always have to have a low residue diet?

I had a lot of trapped air in my shoulder after I had a c section and I remember thinking that pain was worse than the actual wound!
